My review is based on the following summary of my recent experience: In July of ’23 I drove to Castle Rock GMC with a spec sheet in hand of the exact vehicle I wanted to order. 1 ½ hours later the order was finally entered and I was told I would be contacted before the order was placed if any options I specified were unavailable. In October I was notified the vehicle was ready for pick up and, upon arrival at the dealership, discovered four of the specified options were missing. They were able to locate and install two but I was then notified I would have to pay an additional $3k if I wanted the third option even though it was clearly listed on the spec and order sheets. The fourth missing option they completely ignored and provided no explanation. Upon further inspection, I found a series of scratched in the tailgate down to bare metal along with a ½” glob of trash under the paint in another location. They required an “assessment” so I took a day off from work to drive back in whereby they confirmed both were issues covered under warranty but the repair person was unavailable. I then took another day off from work to drive back in for them to perform the repairs. They attempted to repair the scratches but did not have the matching paint in stock so they used a different color paint which does not match. I was informed they could not repair the trash under the paint and it was up to me to find a dealership that was willing and able to do so. ???!!! Since this time I have encountered additional issues with the driver’s side floor mat not staying in place and a substantial issue with the stereo (I strongly suspect what was installed is NOT a Bose product). I’ve contact GMC Customer Service directly multiple times and they do absolutely nothing to assist and just point me back to the dealership. I’ve written letters to both GMC Corporate and Castle Rock GMC’s General Manager with no response. It has now been three months and I will apparently need to retain a lawyer to force Castel Rock GMC to address these issues.

Poor communication in service.
Poor communication in service. Attitude given when asking for a rough idea on timeframe. Have to call them to get an update. Poor service wouldn't recommend.

Castle Rock Chevrolet Buick GMC did a fantastic job of
Castle Rock Chevrolet Buick GMC did a fantastic job of replacing the LS7 engine in our 2009 Corvette Z06 along with a lot of the front suspension. The Service Advisor and Master Technician answered all of our questions during the process and notified us of important milestones so we could inspect and take photos. Both of these individuals were extremely professional, cordial and knowledgeable. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Having just spent 2 full days at Castle Rock GMC for a
Having just spent 2 full days at Castle Rock GMC for a 3-4 hour job getting a power steering pump replaced I can tell you I sure do miss the old Medved Dealership and it's professionalism and competence. I bought my Hummer at Medved 18 years ago in 2006 and all service on it was done at Castle Rock Medved until they went out of business. None of the old competence and professionalism of Medved is apparent at Castle Rock GMC. It's hard to believe their service department doesn't even have a runner to go get parts from the illusive "Distribution Center" in Denver and I had to wait overnight to get a Power Steering pump. Every auto parts store in the Continental US has a runner to go fetch parts. Not Castle Rock GMC. It seems Castle Rock GMC Service Department is in need of some Adult Supervision. I will hence forth take my business elsewhere.
