Outright terrible customer service and unethical
Outright terrible customer service and unethical practices! I strongly advise against purchasing a vehicle or seeking service from this dealership. They have permanently lost my business, and I will be warning friends and family to steer clear of this place. I recently purchased a 2024 car with low mileage from this dealership, but the experience has been nothing short of disappointing. When I inspected the car before purchase, it had damage to the taillight. The dealership agreed to replace the taillight, which they did, and also promised to address any all scuffs and defects - there were some minor ones on the body work. However, just 20 minutes after driving the car off the lot, I noticed scuff marks on the rear bumper directly related to the taillight damage. I admit that they are relatively minor, however, they agreed to repair all. I find it hard to believe that they missed these as they are associated with the incident that caused the damage to the taillight. I immediately contacted the dealership and scheduled a visit to have the issue resolved. When I brought the car back, they told me the scuff marks couldn?t be repaired. I requested that the bumper be replaced, but they refused, claiming it would be too expensive since the car was used. I reminded them of their promise to fix all scuffs and damage, which was part of the sale agreement, and pointed out that I had paid the full market price for the vehicle. To make matters worse, the manager responded in a condescending manner, insisting I had gotten an ?incredible deal.? This was completely untrue?I had paid the market price as verified by Kelley Blue Book, after negotiating their initially inflated price. The manager dismissed my concerns and continued to argue, treating me like I didn?t know the value of the car. His dismissive attitude showed a complete lack of understanding of service quality, repeat patronage, and customer loyalty?three basics of business success. Treating customers poorly and failing to deliver on promises is no way to build a loyal client base, and it guarantees I won?t be returning, nor will anyone I speak with. The sales process itself was riddled with shady practices. When I negotiated the price, they tried to meet my offer by proposing I pay the taxes separately?an insulting and obviously dishonest tactic. The sales representative was also unhelpful and knew very little about the car?s features. Fortunately, I had someone with me who owned a similar model and could provide the information the sales rep failed to offer. The only redeeming quality of the car was its low mileage, but the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and broken promises from this dealership have made the entire experience a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere?this dealership does not deserve your business.

The staff that check you in, in my view may not be the most knowledgeable about vehicles. They are just there to check you and and sell you a repair that pops up on a computer. They may not able to explain what is causing the problem.

What Rivertown could have done better was honor the
What Rivertown could have done better was honor the agreement of my Jeep Gladiator trade-in of $32,800 that we made in December of 2024. They were obviously making false promises to get me out the door for a car that was arriving later. It’s funny how a month later in January 2025, Reyes would only give me $27,000 for it. He's also a clown so maybe trade him out for someone more intelligent and down to earth. The smell of coins was oozing out of his pores. I have an 807 credit score and Reyes tried to convince me to take his 7.79% over my 5.54% because he was offering a $500 rebate. He said you can refinance to your loan later and make it out on top with the extra $500 from Rivertown. Again, he's a clown 🤡, calm down Scrooge McDuck. If it wasn’t for my disdain for the Jeep brand, I would have walked. My next Toyota purchase won’t be with Rivertown and most definitely won’t be with Reyes. There’s a reason they had not one, but two finance employees leave for better employment just days apart.

Friendly service writers and quick service. I was traveling home post Christmas and they accommodated my quick delivery request. I like the option of knowing what needs to be fixed but giving me the opportunity to approve/decline the repairs via text.

Todays vehicle service went off without a hitch. Dropped off the car at 7:05am and received the service completed call at 7:48am, finished eating my breakfast then ran back by and picked it up.... even aired up the spare tire for me.... thanks guys, great job today!!!...

Absolutely terrible service and a huge waste of time.
Absolutely terrible service and a huge waste of time. Took my car in for its first maintenance for hitting 40,000 miles and left with nothing done. The maintenance required code was still not cleared and they didn?t even rotate the tires. The tech said the tires could not be rotated but I have a staggered application so of course they cannot go front to rear- they go side to side. Just goes to show how clueless they are. I called to find out why nothing was done and Gail, the service manager would not take my call. I left a message but he never returned my call. I could not be more disappointed.
