Avoid Mile High Honda for Service—You Deserve Better I

Avoid Mile High Honda for Service—You Deserve Better I brought my 2013 Honda Civic in for a transmission service. It took much longer than expected, but I tried to be patient. Afterward, they recommended over $2,000 in additional services—which I declined. Fast forward a few weeks (with very little driving), and my car suddenly started overheating. Thankfully, I was near another mechanic who diagnosed the issue: a thermostat stuck closed. According to them, Mile High Honda had only drained and refilled my coolant—they didn’t actually inspect any internal parts, which should be standard during a complete radiator service. Because of their negligence, I had to spend another $500 to fix the issue. When I brought it to their attention, they offered a $75 refund—barely anything compared to the cost of the repair. We suggested that a fair compromise would be refunding half of the service amount ($280), but instead of working with us, they completely ghosted the conversation. All over an additional $60. This was an incredibly disappointing experience. Poor service, no accountability, and zero follow-through. If you value honest, reliable care for your vehicle—take it somewhere else.

Zero stars is more fitting for this place.

Zero stars is more fitting for this place. I have had multiple bad experiences, but somehow I have still bought two vehicles from them. I recently purchased a new Honda in July. It is now the middle of January and I am still unable to get my vehicle registered due to one of their employees not sending my title to the lien-holder and then finally sending it via UPS to God knows where. All I received from the dealership was apologies and that they were working on it. They finally had a duplicate title issued but sent it to the wrong county so now here I sit, with yet another temporary tag which is only helping me accrue more fees at the DMV. Mile High Honda offered me no other assistance or anything for that matter with the continued inconvenience of having to deal with them. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM THEM AGAIN and will likely never purchase a Honda again.

Dealer response

Hi, we regret to hear that you had this experience with us. Our manager would really like to speak with you more regarding this matter. Please reach out to us at (303) 369-7800. We look forward to hearing from you.

So bad I had to leave a review.

So bad I had to leave a review. I am not one that will typically write a review, I also try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. However, after my recent experience with Mile High Honda, I felt like I needed to share my story to hopefully save someone else’s time. My wife and I recently looked at a used Honda Odyssey at Mile High Honda, it was a fresh trade-in, so we were understanding that the vehicle wasn’t through their detail shop yet and still had trash from the previous owner in the trunk. We talked with their sales director Nicholas Bakarich in their showroom regarding the vehicle and asked if the vehicle was going to be offered as Certified Pre-Owned. Nicholas told us if it was important to us and asked that if he did that we’d purchase the vehicle, he’d run it through their inspections as a Certified Pre-Owned. We left the dealership that evening being told the van would go through their inspections as a Certified Pre-Owned and ready for us to come back and make the purchase in 2-3 days. We had very little communication after leaving the dealership unless we continually hounded our salesmen. After nearly a week and delay after delay of the vehicle going through inspections we finally heard back on the vehicle. And, what we learned is the vehicle never was going to be offered as a Certified Pre-Owned. The new Sales Manager we talked to apologize for the “differences in communication”. This was not a difference in communication, it was an outright lie about what they were going to do with the vehicle. The main reason we kept waiting for this vehicle after getting excuses on why it wasn’t ready for us to come out and purchase was because we were under the impression based on our conversation with them they were going to sell it to us as a Certified Pre-Owned. We had bought our 2020 Honda Odyssey new from this same dealership and left that experience feeling upset and annoyed with how the finance department at the time treated us. We weren’t thrilled about going back to them with this purchase, however they had a vehicle we liked and told us they’d be working with us to put together a deal we could live with. Turns out it was straight lies to keep us interested in the vehicle and hopes that we’d just accept it not being sold how we were told they would sell it to us. Do yourself a favor with this dealership and ask lots of questions, get everything in writing and if they are telling you they’ll do something, know it’s likely just a trick to try and get a sale. The next day we went to Ralph Schomp and purchased a new 2025 Honda Odyssey, we will never again even think about doing business with Mike High Honda and will share our story with anyone thinking about buying a car from them.

Poor communication and they won't own up to it if they make mistakes. I have called to speak with a manager 3 times now and have been assured someone will call me back. Nothing. Then they have the nerve to send a marketing text asking for my business. Their service dept misthreaded a lug nut so when I got a flat, of course on that tire, I had to have my car towed in ($120) and then pay for them to replace the tire and fix the mistake that THEY made. I had to cough up $1200 and miss an entire day of work because they screwed up my lug nut. No one else has worked on my car and yet they won't even call me back!! Bad business. Don't go here.

Mile High Honda should be your next place to buy your car. Super friendly staff from the general manager all the way to the finance consultant. Our time spent with them was pleasant, stress-free, informative, and enjoyable. Sean, Seung, Nick, Izzy and Mikhail were wonderful to work with and we are extremely pleased with our purchase. We highly recommend them and we will definitely be back!

Purchased a 2023 Ridgeline on June 20th 2024.

Purchased a 2023 Ridgeline on June 20th 2024. Oscar my young salesperson was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and respectful. I purchased my truck in cash. I don't know what the reason is why it's taking so long for them to get my paperwork to DMV. It now has been 7 weeks and still no paperwork at DMV. As of yesterday motor vehicle has not received any paperwork from Mile High Honda. Contacted dealership title clerk (Nichole) 5 days ago, she said she would follow up and let me know but I have heard nothing. **UPDATE** It is now August 22nd 62 days or 9 weeks since I purchased my Ridgeline, and still no paperwork. DMV states paperwork from dealer sales must be received into motor vehicle within 60 days of sale. This is really pissing me off. I emailed the GM (Sean Farshchi) yesterday voicing my displeasure with their customer service and demanded answers, no response.

I never write bad reviews but I feel like a have to at this point. Costco discount is worthless as they will simply say they already discounted the vehicle. They will claim they want to work with you but then, like other reviews, the manager will shoot them down on lowering the price (old school tactics, the manager likes me, let me see what I can do). In the end, they wasted my time and now I am going to work with another dealership.

Meh.

Meh. Mediocre experience with an extremely unprofessional sales team. They wasted our time playing, "Let me talk to my manager." After 30 minutes of their shady tactics, we left and went to Lexus of Greenwood Village and had a great experience.
