Amazing car, awesome staff, BMW of Carlsbad has their service down. Having owned the car and had some insurance related work done, I can also tell you that their after sales and servicing is really the icing on the cake. This is my first BMW. I have had several cars and dealer support and nothing even comes close to this level. It really makes you understand why BMW fans are so loyal to this brand.

Very professional.
Very professional. I got my BMW serviced at the Carlsbad disgnosed after it won't start. I tecrived a video in the diagnosis and and honest assessment to the cost of repair. Recommended.

What a mess!
BMW of Carlsbad has not paid off my trade-in after my purchase on 5/27. Currently I'm having to make two car payments till this gets straightened out. Also they have already sold my trade in.

BMW M240i 2020, Julyt 1, 2023
This was a complimentary annual service (third after the purchase of new car in mid 2020). Everything was perfect, supervised by the polite and competent BMW employee Omar, except that the front license plate was damaged in the (complimentary) carwash. A full reimbursement for my replacement of the vanity license plate and holding bracket was immediately promised. I expect an excellent eventual outcome.

I reached out to BMW of Carlsbad this morning to purchase
I reached out to BMW of Carlsbad this morning to purchase a pre-owned vehicle listed for sale (one that I've been searching for over the past few months). The sales associate I spoke with said come down asap as there is a lot of interest in the car. I let him know I don't live locally and the tone changed, he said they like to prioritize customers who can drive the car home the same day. I let him know I'd be happy to give my credit card - and then was told someone scheduled an appointment to look at it today (and he would call me tomorrow if it's still available). Seems odd that if you would prioritize an appointment for someone (or hold a car without a deposit) - but you would ignore that appointment if I were living close by and could get there sooner. I guess geographical discrimination is a thing these days. I called back as this didn't sit all that well with me and asked the sales manager what their policy is in relation to not selling to someone. He also said they like to prioritize local customers - "it's just what we do". I guess if you live local - you have a better chance of buying a car from them. Pretty poor experience.
