Excellent care provided at the dealership. Didn?t take long to analyze and repair the check engine light.

BUYER BEWARE - Deliberately lied about price of van until very end and then it was suddenly several thousand dollars over the asking price (and price on windshield) wasting hours of my time. This company uses a very well-choreographed scam where the "seller" sells you the car, then the "manager" tells you at the end that you are not going to get it for the price the "seller" was leading you to believe you were getting. I went to this Cable Dahmer in Kansas City Saturday 29 July 2023 to look at a 2016 Town and Country listed at $15,500. I met with a "seller" named Jay Gipson. I told him I had 16k max. He assured that was enough for this van. He showed me the van, worked with me to look it over. I noticed it had been in a undisclosed wreck and showed him the area and the seams cracked. He offered a pacifica listed as a few thousand dollars more, I told him I couldn't afford that as it was 19k. He said, that's ok, we can work this down for you because I know you need to be under 16k. I left for a moment to think about the town and country & pacifica. I called back and said I was very interested in the town and country, but could he fix the large scratch across the roof and put the symbol back on the door. He assured he could, and I reminded him my budget was only 16k for the car with taxes and all included, to which he said there was no issue. I returned to the store to test drive and go over everything. I told them I would take it. Worked out that I would drive the car home that day, then return in a week to have the scratch taken care of. Then came the start of the price up scam. Jay brought over a paper with the 15,500 price on it, which then also showed that there was another charge of 1000 for not using them to finance (I was paying cash), another 2000 for not having a trade in, another 1000 for detailing the van, another 1000 for trim around the doors, another 1000 for the nitrogen they put in the tires for air. another 700ish? for dealers fees. Thats like $22,000 before taxes. Jay said he wasn't worried about most of it, but asked if I could be in the middle of those numbers, I said no, from the beginning you have been saying 16 is all I got, now you are saying 19k? No, you said 16k was ok until now, and that 16k was ok, and that's what I want it at. Then the dance with the "manager" started. He came over going look this car is 22k, I am not taking a 6k loss on this car. I said then why do you list it as 15500, he said because IF WE PUT THIS PRICE ON IT NO ONE WOULD SHOP HERE. Of course not, its $6,000 over the Kelly Blue Book fair market value for a dealer! This is a scam to get you to say yes to a car, and then raise the price on you to get you to pay more than you would have. So, I wasted most of my day here because of them when I could have been shopping at other car dealers. This is an awful deceitful company. Buyer Beware!!! Would give 0 stars if I could.

*Long review* *I was sold a car WITHOUT A TITLE and they could not obtain it. Communication is terrible* With all of the 5 star reviews, I thought that I would have had a great experience but I DID NOT. My husband and myself went in there to purchase a vehicle and initially I had a good experience. Troy Burke and Mark were pleasant but were extremely pushy. They asked me what type of vehicle I wanted and what type of payment I could afford and they DID NOT honor my choices. Reluctantly, we agreed to a car (a white Jeep Compass) that was much more than what we initially asked for. We then went in and sat with Jamie (the guy dealing with the paperwork) who was, again, initially pleasant but was pushy and we signed paperwork we were hesitant to sign. Jamie then proceeded to print out a 60 DAY TEMP TAG FOR MISSOURI. I thought that was strange but ignored the warning signs. The TITLE WAS NOT IN THE PAPERWORK. I waited and waited. NOTHING. 30 days passed and my car payment didn't come out of my bank account. I called Cable Dahmer and spoke to Mark who said that he didn't deal with payments and I needed to call the loan officer. Cool... I called the loan company and they COULD NOT FIND MY LOAN!!! I was a little confused so I called Cable Dahmer back and spoke to JAMIE. He said that they could not obtain the title to the vehicle and I had to return it. My husband and myself being (rightfully) upset, went back to Cable Dahmer and confronted Jamie. He seemed apologetic ONLY because he was confronted. He then proceeded to say that he was going to call us the next day to discuss what we could do. He stated that if we could give him another week or two, the dealership would pay the late registration fees for the car. I agreed (silly me). I waited the next day and received no phone call. I waited a second day and didn't receive a phone call. Now I am beyond furious because he has not called me to tell me what's happening. My husband and I go up there highly upset and neither Mark, Troy or Jamie is nowhere to be found. I wanted to confront them and ask them why did they sell me a car without a title. I asked to speak to a manager who unluckily felt the brunt of my anger. I was refunded my down payment. I am upset at the fact that no one called me to communicate ANYTHING with me. If I hadn't called regarding my car payment not coming out of my bank account, I would have been told nothing. COMMUNICATION IS TERRIBLE unless you are there trying to get a car. They are all in your face being nice and friendly SNAKES until you have an issue. I called Jamie a COWARD because that is what he is to me. He never called to communicate anything about the missing title. I REGRET GOING TO DAHMER IN THE FIRST PLACE. I went to another car place and was treated with dignity and respect AND I RECEIVED THE TITLE!!!!!!!!

Poor customer service.
Poor customer service. The mechanic did to have completed his job correctly. But my service advisor Vick Sangha, and service manager Brian failed to do their jobs.

1st time new Car buyer
The car that came was more expensive than ordered due to extra features. I had to bring that to attention otherwise no one would have. No explanation of the extra add ons that they were extra and the price. It was sign here, sign, etc. no conversation about rolling sales tax into the loan, wasn?t asked if I had a down payment, told I was getting a discount on the extended warranty to offset the higher price of vehicle but that was not given, I was given no paperwork when I left, bank hasn?t received the money back from dropping the extras added, sent the wrong bill of sale, reached out to Jamie a couple times with no response. I don?t care to go through Chris as he was just bad with how the process was carried out. I asked to check with local lenders to see if there was a better interest rate and there wasn?t. Objectively I will let you make the call on if I am not being reasonable on this critique.

At this moment I will not buy another car from you. Troy (the use car manager) was so rude to us as a loyal buyer at Cable Dahmer. This was the 2nd time he has been this way to us. We were there to buy a vehicle which would have been our 7 or 8 vehicle bought from Cable Dahmer.

Oil Change
I bought my 2021 1500 Chevy Silverado last year. The buying process was very easy and they finance with the bank that I want it but this recent visit for oil change was very quick and easy. The staff was very friendly and I would recommend to family in friends.
