I am 51 years old and have never had a bad experience buying a vehicle until dealing with Glenn's Freedom Dodge. We bought a truck on October 14th. The engine light came on within miles of the dealership. We have been asking since day 2 of ownership to return it after finding out it has serious transmission issues. They have ignored our calls, haven't called back when we've left messages and one of the sales managers that did answer hung up on us when we told him we wanted to return the truck. We are now in the third week of owning this lemon and it has been at our local dealer (in TN) 2 times for a total of two weeks out of three we've owned it. Our local dealer told us yesterday the transmission is shot Today I got a rude message from the general manager saying they will not be rescinding the deal nor refunding any monies even after finding out the transmission is shot. Our salesman lied to us when he told us the truck was in immaculate condition. The finance manager lied to us when I asked him if we were paying for the GAP insurance that he was talking about. Not only did they tack the insurance onto our loan but a total of $6,490 of useless charges were put in there. They charged us $200 for a year of oil changes and we are 3 hours away. These people are anything but honest taking advantage of hard working people. This is the nicest most expensive thing we have ever bought and we can't even drive it. He traded in his only vehicle for this one so now he doesn't have anything to drive. He asked the salesman when we put it in the shop the first time if they could get him a rental and he said no. I wished I had looked up all the bad reviews on this place before purchasing from them.

We have had no luck dealing with anyone there. They ignored our phone calls, voicemails and text messages the first week. He finally spoke to someone named Steve and when he told him we wanted to return it (obviously a truck with a bad transmission is useless to us) he hung up on him. The salesman was no help, Seth the manager wasn't any help and the general manager Tom Cecil wasn't any help either. I'm sure you do not understand my frustration. He traded in his only vehicle and now he doesn't have one so you're not having to get up at 3:00am to take him to work and work over an hour so that he has a way home. Frustrated doesn't begin to cover it. We have been told that y'all can't take the vehicle back. I'm sure they don't want it back because it is obviously a piece a crap. They would rather it be our piece of crap vs their piece of crap. We have had it now for 4 weeks and it has been at our local dealer for three weeks and is still there now. The only person that has been any help is the lady at our local dealer, Wilson County Chevrolet. She's been handling everything including the warranty company. She couldn't even get y'all to contact her back about that. She had to contact us to get the warranty information to try to get something done.

We have been asking since day 1 to cancel this sale. We have spoken to our finance company and they say a dealer can do a flat cancel and void a sale in this situation despite Freedom Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram telling us they can't take it back. This truck should have never been on a dealer lot for sale. It has had 72 codes deleted from it and the transmission is shot. I would expect this kind of service if we had bought it from a cheap shady used car lot but certainly not the kind of service that one expects when buying from a dealer.

Had my Dodge Challenger for 7 weeks trying to fix a noise in the front end. Not good communication and should have been able to build a new car in 7 weeks. The only one that was any help was Shantel who kept me in a vehicle while they had a new car that was only 3 months old when I took in in for service. Will never buy another Dodge again. And Chrysler customer service is the worse I have ever dealt with.

Its funny to me that the day you told me I could come and get the car that you were waiting day to day for Chrysler to tell you the next step to take. But when I picked up the car and got the work order receipt you had stated that you were going to check the brake line routings and rotors for corrosion but I requested to pick up the car before you could do that. And just before I picked it up you said you were waiting day by day for the next step .I still have all the text messages if you like me to send it to you. And I checked up there all the time and my car set out in the parking lot more than it was inside.

Bought a lifted truck in December from this lot, I also bought the power train extended warranty. Now, nine months later, my transmission has went out and warranty says they will not cover the cost bc my truck is lifted, even though this dealer sold me the warranty with the lift already on the truck. Will not get back with me on how to resolve this issue so looking into legal means to get this issue taken care of

Buyer beware
If I could rate less than 1 star I would! I purchased a Yukon Denali mid July 2022. It is January 2023 and it has been in the shop longer than it has been with me. No sooner than a few weeks after I got it, the check engine light comes on. The fan was also audibly blowing under the hood randomly, even while the engine was shut off (thermostat gauge failure) I take it July 14th to Glenn’s, they chose to keep it at the shop and refused a loaner car several times. They chose to send it to another dealership (GMC) with adequate resources to diagnose it. They eventually returned the car to me about 4 weeks later with neither issue being resolved as they “couldn’t replicate it”. My vehicle is still currently in the other shop (for a full engine replacement, so who knows when I will even get it back), and Glenn hasn’t done much of anything at all to assist me this entire time. Also it’s worth noting the time between the purchase date and first instance of the check engine light/fan issue was so brief that it’s very difficult to believe that they were unaware of it before handing it off to me. I will never purchase here again nor would I recommend this dealership to anyone else who expects a functioning vehicle. I've spent so much on rentals during this process I might as well buy another car. You'd think when you buy a $30k+ truck that the dealership would look out for you but I guess not. I regret the day I walked in to Glenn's. I probably paid a little too much for the truck and down payment, and I got low balled for my trade in, but those are on me. But the truck not being in tip top shape AND them not working with me on the back end has been a tough pill to swallow. When they tell you they don't have any loaner cars when there's 300 vehicles on the lot is a slap in the face.
