Leasing a New Cadillac

Not a satisfied customer
Would definitely not bring your vehicle here for service. After being on countless phone calls with GM corporate for a measly $134 known service recall #12138 on a transmission dipstick tube failure this dealership would not honor the recall because apparently someone had already 'claimed' the warranty. GM corporate even admitted I had never received a recall notice according to their records. If the work was actually completed (never was as I am original owner) the dealership was supposed to install a foam tube in addition to replacing the dipstick to correct the vibration issue that causes the failure. Interestingly enough no foam on the broken dipstick. That should make it pretty clear recall work had never been completed. Besides a known design flaw...should be appropriately handled appropriately. As a former GM engineer and nothing but loyal GM customer for past 18 yrs its a real shame to lose loyalty for a lousy $134.

Fantastic. Incredibly Friendly'.
When you walk in the door. Everyone, not just the salesman who gets the next customer, stands up and greets you like you are a family member. It feels like I went to a family reunion where I knew everybody.Even after the sale was over, Ron Morris, called me back at least 3 days in a row to ask how everything was going and did I think I got a fair deal. I said absolutely!!! You know how new car things work. They do not play a game of "tricky" numbers. You know exactly what you are paying for. Mr. Delord even came out to talk with us after the deal was done. He will be a friend for life. My wife says it is because he is a of integrity. You have ample opportunity to give the business owner feedback in person. It simply was one of the most pleasant and memorable buying experiences I have ever had. Warranty Work
I took my car in for repair last Monday and Jeffery Wright, the service writer, was the individual who took care of me. I waited for the work to be performed, however, when Jeff came into the waiting area and sat down I just knew it was bad news. He reassured me and told me that a part had to be ordered and he was looking at Friday at the latest for my car to be completed. He then offered me a loaner car and I was quickly on my way. Friday morning Jeff called to let me know that the part hadn't arrived and he had checked on the status and that it had been "shipped". He informed me if the part would arrive that day he would have to call the installer and schedule a time for them to come out and install it, so he said that it would probably be Monday when my car would be ready. I appreciated the call so that I didn't have to wait around all day for my car. But I do have to say that my car was ready late Friday and I picked it up on Saturday! I really appreciate how Jeff kept me informed about my car and also when the part did arrive, the installer was called and installed it the same day - now that's what I call great service! I live in Dayton and purchased my car from Bill Delord four years ago and have always taken my car to them for service. I could easily take my car to any Cadillac dealer in Dayton for service but I choose this dealer because of the fast, friendly and courteous service they deliver. Keep up the good work!
