I have been a customer of Fields for 12 +years

I have been a customer of Fields for 12 +years (previously Sklyand Automotive). I have nothing but praise for everyone I have come in contact with at the dealership and in the service department. Especially Darrell Inman who has been our service advisor for years as well. He is why we will continue to buy Mercedes from Fields Automotive in Asheville, NC.

I couldn't give this dealership one star.

I couldn't give this dealership one star. I just got off the phone with the used car manager who bold face lied to me. I had a verbal agreement that if they would get a defect fixed on the car that I would buy it. The used car manager, Tim, told me he took the car to the painter on Friday and he would call me when it was ready. We had negotiated a price, I agreed to deal with the dealership on the financing and everything was great. Today I looked on the website to see that the car had been taken off. I figured it was because it was at the shop and they knew they had a buyer. I found out later that on Saturday they sold the car to someone else. Tim's reason was that this buyer would buy the car without it being fixed. I asked Tim about him telling me he took the car in to have it fixed on Friday he said "well I was going to". What kind of business is that? This would have been the second car I bought from this location and I won't ever buy another one. What ever happened to a man's word? What ever happened to building customer loyalty. I'll tell you what happened. It's all about making the most money possible. Don't get me wrong business is business but You can't keep treating customers this way and hope they will return to do business with you. Tim did offer to find me another car. I told him no thank you. I'll spend my money where I'm appreciated. Lost Customer

I was well pleased with my transaction for my used Mercedes Benz. The sales person was most helpful as were the other people involved. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used automobile.

Run, don't walk away from this dealership. My experience repairing a factory recall included untruths, promises broken, poor communication, poor service capability, lack of concern over inconvenience . . . and then tried to upsell me as I was told my tires needed replacement with a vehicle with 9,000 miles still under warranty. Not my usual experience with three other mercedes I own in another state, but this dealership is bottom of the barrel. beware

Always great service and now they have a cafe where they make you breakfast or lunch while you wait….and it is free!!! Can’t do better than that.
