My experience purchasing my first Volvo went very smoothly. Robert, Iulian, and Michael were all wonderful to work with. I never felt pressured! Thank you for such a positive experience!

My very first purchase of a Volvo was with Volvo of Gilbert and it was not a truly exceptional experience the management states they strive for. I would not recommend this dealership. My new X90 was given to me with maintenance warning on, they have me chasing a promised first payment waiver check for months when per their form they were to take care of the first payment when my account was established.

Couldn’t believe the overall poor treatment of a customer
Couldn’t believe the overall poor treatment of a customer who just spent over $70k on a new car from them. It started when we arrived @ our appointed time to pick up the car (had already paid a deposit a week earlier). My husband pointedly asked if the car had been inspected. The salesman said it had. He was unable to explain anything about the car (it’s an EV). He told us to go to YouTube videos. In all, we were stuck waiting six hours for the car. Apparently, none of the paperwork had been done in advance & they were having printer issues. We left during rush hour. We pulled out onto busy Gilbert Road, and immediately had an issue. The car wouldn’t accelerate over 24 mph. Needless to say, this was an unsafe situation as cars sped around us. We limped back & waited 40 minutes for the car to be taken out of “repair@ mode, or whatever it’s called. After 3 months of ownership, the software had a failure. Without warning, the car went into “One Pedal” mode, the backup camera stopped working, and the a/c turned on full blast. The control screen had gone blank. Made it home & called the dealer. The service manager said he was down 3 techs & couldn’t get me in until Monday (this was Tuesday). He also said he had no loaners until March (this was 1/31). On Monday, we arrived & were told by the Service Manager that our appointment was on 2/23! IOW, in 3 weeks. This was the same person who set the appointment with my husband for 2/6. My husband has called to speak with the dealership manager twice (first time was related to Sales). Neither call was ever returned. Needless to say, we won’t be returning for Service & certainly never for a purchase. What’s sad about this is that this is my third Volvo. My previous two were bought @ Volvo of Lisle, where I was treated as a valued customer. I’ve since taken this new car to Courtesy Volvo. They are great!

This dealership does not care about the consumer.
This dealership does not care about the consumer. It is only about selling the one car on the lot. They provide no customer service. Will not help the consumer. I ordered a car & then received multiple blank or irrelevant emails. We had planned on purchasing to Volvos. But based off this dealership. Will move to a different car maker.

Thank you for letting us know about your experience. We do try and make every client experience a positive one. We understand your frustration with the federal tax incentives in regard to purchasing an electric vehicle was changed by the federal government. These Federal regulations changed at the time of your order and are out of the dealer's control. We have reached out by phone and look forward to discussing this further.
Do not cover up your smugness. You, as a dealership had a chance to assist us & cost you no money. You chose not to work with us. DO NOT put this on me. YOU chose not to help the consumer. I also called you back with no response. Don’t try & make the public feel like you are working with your clients.
Number one Volvo dealership!
I have never been more satisfied with a car buying experience. Volvo Cars of Gilbert model teamwork. The general manager, Jon Bittrolff assistant manager Michael Ayache and sales representative Michael Bushell worked diligently to get me the “best deal” in the valley. I would not shop anywhere else for my next Volvo.

Please accept my apology regarding your experience with our dealership. Our goal is to have a positive and transparent experience for all our clients and maybe we were too transparent. I know you flew in from out of state, most likely because of availability of inventory. We do price our vehicles competitively and we have a higher standard of reconditioning then most dealers. The intent is to show the client the value we offer in the purchase of our vehicle with certification and reconditioning, however we failed to exemplify this in the appropriate way. Please let me know if I can assist you in any way. Thank you. Jon Bittrolff - General Manager
The initial buying experience was a good one.
The initial buying experience was a good one. We leased the vehicle and did purchase the wear and tear policy when the lease was complete. When we chose to trade the vehicle in on something a little better, we went to cancel the wear and tear policy. At the time we cancelled, we were told the paperwork we signed allowed a 60 day cancellation with a refund, afterwards, there is no refund. The problem is this does not show on any paperwork we signed and acknowledged. When questioning this, we were told it was printed on the back of what we signed. Nothing is there, we were then told it is a separate document which doesn’t require a signature which we never received. Interesting how they are able to sell a financing product, then do whatever they can not to provide a refund based on documents they did not provide. This is a principal matter, not a break the bank problem. Not a very trustworthy or stand up dealership.

We are sorry to hear you are not satisfied with the outcome attempting to cancel your Wear and Tear Lease product you purchased in December 2020. The wear and tear policy you purchased is fulfilled by Volvo Financial Services and clearly states a 60 day cancelation-free look period with no refund 61 days from the effective date. Our goal is to expediate our client request as quickly and efficiently as possible, however we must follow the guidelines set forth in the policy stated by Volvo Financial Services. Please contact me to discuss at 480-941-2400, Jon Bittrolff - General Manager

I own two Volvos, a 2020 and 2021 and will always be a Volvo owner. I previously had a good experience at this dealership when it comes to service. When selling my car, the manager, Jon was extremely disrespectful and dismissive with the first conversation I've even had with him. After asking him to counter my counter-offer, Jon refused to purchase my car, clearly out of spite, even when I was willing to negotiate. It was seriously so humiliating and I will never purchase anything from this dealer as long as this man is the manager. Also, this dealership has almost no inventory even before COVID so if you want to purchase a decent car, don't go here.

Very relaxing experience instead of a high pressure “car dealer” experience. We had never really considered a Volvo but we’re in the Gilbert Rd motorplex area checking out all cars and were pleasantly surprised with what we found. Chance Thomason answered all our questions honestly, and if he wasn’t sure he went and got the answer. Everyone at the dealership including the Manager Russ were very pleasant. Thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience!

Do not trust these guys
This is the worst dealership in the valley. Their business practices are unscrupulous at best and they have zero after sale service. It should have been a huge red flag that no other Volvo dealerships in the valley had any vehicles and these guys were stocked. We were lied to about our interested rate and when my wife questioned it, she was told by the manager she should have read the fine print. We have purchased our first and last Volvo and we are filing a lawsuit against them for deceptive business practices. After buying more than ten vehicles in the last 7 years for personal and business, this is the first time my wife and I felt as though a dealership was scummy. Don’t trust Marie in finance, she has no ethics and will lie right to your face.
