Owning a vintage BMW?

Owning a vintage BMW?mine is a 1998 328i with the classic E36 engine?is a joy, but it can be tricky finding mechanics who understand and appreciate the craftsmanship of these older models. Thankfully, BMW of Beverly Hills Service Department absolutely does. Even though now that it's out of warranty I try and take my car to an independent mechanic in Los Angeles that I really trust, there are times when a repair is beyond the scope of that independent shop. That?s when my guy Mike tells me, ?Nanci, this is a job for BMW.? And he?s right?because BMW of Beverly Hills steps up every single time. Their service department is top-notch. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, but what really blows me away is how they treat me and my car. Despite all the gleaming six-figure vehicles rolling through their bays, they show just as much care and respect for my 1998 3-series as they do for a brand-new M8. They make me feel like royalty every time I?m there. The mechanics are experienced, professional, and they clearly love these cars. You can tell they admire older models like mine, which is increasingly rare in the dealership world. One major repair they did for me was an oil gasket replacement?a big job. A few months later, when I noticed the issue had returned, I brought it back and they re-did the repair completely, no questions asked, under warranty. That level of accountability and pride in their work is everything. Beyond the technical excellence, it?s just a pleasant place to be. I usually bring my Black Labrador Retriever, Henry, and the staff couldn?t be sweeter. They offer him water and treats?and honestly, they spoil both of us. The waiting room is clean, well-stocked with water, coffee, snacks, and a genuinely warm vibe. Yes, their prices are dealership-level, but in return, you?re getting world-class service from people who respect your time, your car, and your loyalty to the brand. I wouldn?t hesitate to recommend BMW of Beverly Hills to anyone?especially vintage BMW owners who want to be treated like their car still matters. Because here, it does.

Did not get the second key for a month, registered the car in the incorrect name. I have reached out to Smitty who does not call back to get this arranged after I paid a registration fee. Never buying from BMW again
