Good Buying Experience

Dan Naughton was very helpful in the process of trading in two vehicles and purchasing a new MDX. We were very satisfied with the car buying experience.

Short on facts; long on time

Spent hours review cars online. We finally settled on an MDX. Looked for a local dealer with a good reputation. Vandergriff seemed to fit the criteria. We made an appointment to see a specific car, at a specific time, with a specific salesperson. We arrived and met with our salesperson at 12:30. He could not find our car. We test drove a similar MDX and another make and model for comparison. We liked the MDX. Finally found the car we came to see and it was filthy. The salesperson said he would have it cleaned up and detailed for pickup the next day. Okay fine, we start the negotiations. They came in with a low price on our trade-in and a higher than advertised price for the car. The negotiations continued until we got the price we thought our trade-in was worth and the advertised Internet price for the car. Then we sat for over an hour waiting to talk to the finance guy. He showed us loans for over 10% interest. We were pre-qualified for 5%. After some searching, he was able to get the rate we knew we should have. All-in-all, the process took over 5 hours and that was with an appointment and a specific car and a loan pre-qualification. We are very disappointed in the staff. I would say I am impressed with the car, but I still don't know how to use all of the technology (because no one showed us how to use it). My biggest disappointment is that the car did not come with a spare tire. It was supposed to have a "repair kit" but that was missing.

Outstanding Experience Start to Finish

Vandergriff Acura is rightfully listed as a certified dealer by auto expert Jerry Reynolds and CarProUSA. Sales Manager Wesley Kammer and Senior Sales Representative Dan Naughton showed true concern and treated us very fairly during the purchase process. Their after purchase service program (as described to us) is just outstanding. Recommend this Acura dealership very highly.

Truthful and Honest sales
