I brought my car to get the windshield replaced and I got

I brought my car to get the windshield replaced and I got a call 4 hours later that they didn’t have the windshield. Why would they schedule me without having the part? Then I was told that the part will take a month to get in. So, 4weeks later I called and asked if the part was in and the parts person told me it had come in a week ago. No one called me. Also In between that time about 3 weeks in, I called and left a message and no return phone call. Made an appointment and brought my car in. Get a call to tell me that the work is done, but while putting air in my tires they scraped my rim. They fixed it and it looks great. But, that was a bummer. When I went to pickup my car I noticed on the rim they fixed the stem cap was missing. So I asked them if that could put on. One of the service men came out and twisted one off of a rental car and put it on my car. It didn’t match!! I said nothing. At that point I felt like I would be making a big deal out of something small. There was little attention to detail and the customer service as far as communication was lacking. I was disappointed. This is my first luxury car and I was really thinking that it was all about the experience. I do know that they were in transition from Vista to Carlsbad, but really should not change customer service.

First visit to new dealer location in Carlsbad. The service on my BMW X3 was completed as needed and recommended. Richard kept me apprised of the progress until completed.

Top Notch Service Department

To start off, I?d like to say that I did not purchase my vehicle from this dealership, nor have I purchased one from them in the past. I cannot speak to the buying experience or process at this dealership (however I?d imagine it would be equally as stellar as my experience with their service department) I purchased a 2011 BMW 328i Convertible on 07/22/23 and three days later heard a loud whistling noise coming from the engine bay while driving. Pulled over, shut the car off, and restarted it; noise was gone. I brought the car into the dealer to have a recall done that I knew about when buying the car, and mentioned the noise to them. They were able to diagnose the problem within a few hours, and had my car back to me the very same day, only about 2 hours after I approved the service over the phone. Not only were they friendly and communicative, but they offered me an incredibly fair price on the repair. Included in the recall and repair was also a complementary wash and full vehicle inspection, a very nice touch! This is my first car, I bought it myself, and I was afraid that I?d have to return the car to the dealership I bought it from and terminate my purchase contract with them, but BMW of Carlsbad took great care of me and my car, and gave me peace of mind in my vehicle. If you?re looking for somewhere to have your BMW serviced and you?re concerned that the dealerships price will be too high, I?d definitely encourage you to at least get a quote from them. Impeccable quality of service and a competitive price were the biggest takeaways for me, and the repaired part is now under warranty through them for 2 years. Highly recommend this dealership!
