I was trying to buy a vehicle and told them I had intent to as I talked to a salesman and his assistant through text and email I simply asked for a picture of the inside and they kept telling me they would get it to me and proceeded to not send me a picture but keep emailing and texting me they would then they just sold it after I have been waiting for over a week for a xxxx picture

DERRICK SMITH IS THE BEST!

Derrick Smith was the Salesman I had last Saturday March 14th 2020. I traveled 4 hours away to Apple Valley Ford to purchase a 2013 Ford F-150 Platnium. Derrick took time to do a video walk around for me prior to my trip up to purchase this Amazing Truck. He was very nice and worked with me every step of the way. I actually got to meet and speak with the previous owner of the truck. This gave me great confidence that I was buying a great Truck. Derrick made that happen. Apple Valley Ford has a great set of staff willing to work out a more than fair deal. They just earned a lifelong customer here! I highly recommend this Dealership! They have a moto that says 'Your Trade is Worth More Here" THAT IS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT! Not only did I get a great deal butiI got an above average price for my previous Truck as as trade in!

False Advertising

Found a vehicle online. The sticker showed one price and their website showed that same price with Dealer and Factory Incentives bringing the price down considerably. I submitted an email online through their website inquiring about that particular vehicle as to whether or not it was still available. I heard back from a lady named Faith stating that it was still available. After emailing back and forth with her several times and trying to get the bottom-line pricing which included taxes, license, title and registration, the price ended up being thousands higher. I asked her again what the price of the car was BEFORE the taxes, license, title, etc was and she quoted me $3,200.00 higher than what their website stated. When I questioned this, she never responded but instead had a guy named John call me. He proceeded to tell me that those incentives expired and that really they were for a Buy Down Program which meant you would make a certain payment amount for 3 years and then it would go up. So in other words, their website is what I would consider a Bait and Switch. They advertise a price that states Best Price for Everyone and then when you find what you actually want to purchase, they switch out the price stating that you can no longer get that price but rather pay thousands more for the same vehicle they said was available. Shady business! I will be purchasing a vehicle this week, but because of this, they have now lost my business! My sister and cousin are also looking to purchase, but they will not be going to Apple Valley Ford now either.

F 150 search

Dealership was super busy on black Friday on trying to get sales people to everyone. Also once we moved onto dealing of financial matters they were able to get a better deal with Ford credit than another Ford dealership.

Shady

We met with a salesman, Jason Elliot, at Apple Valley Ford regarding a used truck for my college age son. The office visit went very well. We informed him we would not utilize their financing but we would be heading to our lender to secure loan for truck, still during same day business hours. My son, myself and our lender worked with Jason via the phone. He was very well aware we were securing financing. After two hours of finalizing the paperwork and receiving a purchase agreement from APVF, we let Jason know they were printing the check and we were coming back to pick up the truck. He then informed my son he was selling the truck to people who had just walked in and were starting the finance process through the dealership. My son, calmly vented how this business practice was questionable at best, he questioned the fact that Jason said these people put $1000 down but just started the financing process, the story got more twisted as my son shared his utter disappointment. Extremely poor customer service, double selling to whomever will get Ford the most money! We do not condone shady business dealings and it truly made us wonder if they were going to that extent to sell a vehicle, what else are they hiding about the vehicle.

Worst Mechanics in the state!!!

We have brought both our vehicles that we purchased here back for repairs. Our Van they had us fix 3 different thing before they “figured out “ what’s wrong with it$1500 later. Our Escape they have replaced the air conditioner 3 times and now they are telling us the piece that originally broke put debris in there. It’s under warranty. Now they want $800 for there screw up! A bunch of crooks!!

Poor Customer Service

After having purchased 6, yes 6 brand new vehicles from this dealership in the past 8 years, I have to say that I will not be coming back here ever again! I have been having trouble with my vehicle since day one and I have had it in the shop for this problem at least three times. Every time they tell me that they have fixed it and every time it does the same thing. I call into the service department 7 days ago and spoke with a service manager who told me that he would get back to me right away. I have yet to hear from him and this isn't the first time that I have been treated poorly! I am all done with you and very possibly done with Ford! Matt Warner is an awesome sales person and has never done us wrong but I cannot say the same for their service department!

Dishonest

Apple auto of Applevalley should be ashamed of how they have taken care of me after buy a certificated used car from them. When I purchased the car I let them know of an issue. They said they would fix the issue when i brought it back through the service department. Well I waited a bit until the car wouldn't start. Third issue with the car. Had it towed in. They had the car for a few days. I get a call saying we dont hear the noise and the car started just fine. I went in to do a ride along so I could point out the noise. After that they said they would figure out how to fix the noise. A day or two later get called to come and get the car and discuss the noise. Get told it's not covered u see warranty. I said it was discussed at purchase you said you would fix it. We had our disagreement I said I was going to call management and was going to leave with the car. Waiting at the service desk I get called back to the adviser. Well the car wont start keep the rental I get told we will investigate more. Get called the next day saying it's the battery. I said it was a certified preowned vehicle how is the battery junk in less then 2000 miles. Oh it happens and it's not covered. I meet with the service department manager and get told a story about people bringing in vehicles with less then 300 miles on them with blow engines and it just happens. I asked about the noisy windshield well that's not covered. I said it's not in correct from the factory. Still has the Ford factory marking on the glass. I leave with it. After having 3 different employees tell me to commit insurance fraud and turn it in to my insurance. I still have these calls recorded on my phone. I call Ford motor company to get the windshield replaced. I get an email requesting I fill out how my experience was. So I filled it out to only later get a call from them questioning why such a poor review. Again on a recorded call. So i did you read the review? It's pretty self explanatory. Now a some time passed and I get a call from the PR guy. He asks me about my story. So I have to give him my story. He promises he is going to make it right for me. A week goes by nothing. I wait another week and nothing so I call and say what's the deal you said you were going to take care of this. I said I didn't come to you complaining you came to me. I thought they took care of this I said no they haven't talked to me. The recorded call ends again with him saying he will take care of it. I wait 2 more weeks and nothing. So I call again. Hey the same response. Now 1month to the day they called me and started it. I get three call backs that day and my guess is the made me an offer of 3 oil changes claiming the value would be close to $300 I save having them do further work for me. I turned it down telling them I lost more then that the first day I had to bring the car in do to lost time at work. They didn't make a counter offer. I have since had them do the oil changes that were purchased at the time of buying the vehicle and received the same type of service. Truly disappointed in the service I received.
