Purchased a 2017 Buick Enclave from Tim W. On the test...

Purchased a 2017 Buick Enclave from Tim W. On the test drive we pointed out things like the tire was soft, the battery was dead, the shimmy in the steering wheel, but we were told with Cappellino’s multipoint inspection, everything would be fixed. Due to covid, the car sat for 10 weeks. Since then we have had a shocking list of problems. No air conditioning, needing new tires, alignment to the point of causing steering issues, brake pads, the cd player draining the battery to dead, with little to no satisfaction from Cappellino’s.

Return Lease

Herb Streng was dealer on my return lease called me 2 weeks early and asked to make sure I brought my truck to his attention when I returned it because his friend wanted it. I specifically asked about Disposition fee and he assured me that my truck was well taken care of no fee would be levied. On returning truck was told I have to pay disposition as in the contract,car is cleaner than most on lot,told him he lied to me and had care free response I need to read the contract.Told him ty for lying to me and will never do business with them again...Had truck cleaned professionally and now want to charge me 495 to clean it again mahahaha

Bad experience from start to finish.

Visited the dealership in a NYE snowstorm to look at a specific car. Despite talking to them ahead of time and then confirming that I was coming when I arrived the salesperson I had been speaking to could not be located. After about 30 minutes they did find someone to help me, he was nice enough but clearly distracted by an issue from a previous sale. He spent most of his time on the phone and working on that issue rather than taking any time to work with me. I had about 45 minutes to look at the vehicle with no salesperson, and was fortunate to find a stack of paperwork in the glove box that was a very comprehensive history of the car, including a $3900 body shop invoice (complete with the previous owner's $500 dollar credit card slip and all of his personal information) for significant work to the front end that was not indicated on the Carfax. When I brought this up to the sales manager he denied that there had ever been an accident and reiterated that the car had "a clean Carfax." At this point I went out to the vehicle to grab all of the paperwork, only to find that it had been removed from the vehicle- and no one knew anything about it! Best case this may have been incompetence, worst care deliberate fraud. None of this would have mattered if they were willing to negotiate the price based on the factual info, but they continued to insist the vehicle was clean and fairly priced. At least as far as my experience went this dealership represents every shady cliche' about used care sales. My best advice would be to STAY AWAY from these guys.

BE AFRAID..BE VERY AFRAID

I would leave minus stars if I could...it's the worst...leased a new Acadia..supposed to be one of their better vehicles..after 10,000 miles we had to replace all 4 tires because they were defective..in the middle of winter stranded on the side of the road as one blew out. which they made us pay for..the bad tires were supposed to be warranted for 60,000 miles. Now we're on the side of the road because starter is no good... at 22,000 miles...we leased this to have a reliable vehicle to use and not worry about, yet we are forever trying to finds rides back and forth to pick up and tow vehicle on a regular basis...and always when it's convenient for Cappellino's...not only will we never get another GMC, we will never get anything from Crappellino's as another reviewer noted.. I should have known in the very beginning when we went in with the newspaper ad and the salesman said..and I quote.. "people read what they want to read...please be aware

I wouldn’t go anywhere else Cappellino’s is honest and have the greatest staff. I’ve purchased at least 6 vehicles from them and from sales to service they always exceed my expectations!!

DISHONEST, RAN CREDIT APP THEN CHANGED PRICE TWICE

Here is a detailed recount of my 3 week plus interaction with this dealership. I will be adding this whole interaction on other forums with pictures to substantiate claims. Please search for it. -2/3 Reached out through the Edmunds website with a reduced price for the vehicle. The customer care manager responded quickly, but getting a response from the sales rep was terrible. -2/11 Finally a test drive is scheduled. No issues. An offer was made on my end and the rep said he would let me know either way in the morning. By 8pm I had an email “thanking me” for coming and to let him know what else he could do. -2/12 I emailed back he could let me know where we stand on the offer. No response. Another email from me later in the day, no response. -2/16 I follow-up again and was told to talk to a different sales rep while the one I was with was on vacation (he was but not on 2/12). -2/18-2/19 Negotiations ensue with the deal changing from their end 3 times. The last time over $122 for a key fob (since I had only specified a key and not a fob. However, I was already told to, “Fill our a credit app” to get a rate. Understandably, rates change, but the prices should not. After the deal changed for the third time at the finish line, I declined to pay the additional charge. AGAIN THIS WAS AFTER A CREDIT APP IN WHICH 2 HARD INQUIRIES WERE MADE. -2/21 I return to the rep WILLING TO PAY THE $122, I was told he had to check in the AM. -2/22 Receive a message the deal has been pulled, spoke to the used car manager who spoke of their inventory changing and that was the reason they would not commit to their offer. AGAIN, AFTER 3 WEEKS OF MOSTY TERRIBLE SERVICE, THEY CHANGED THE DEAL AT THE FINISH LINE 3 TIMES CHARGING MORE, THE LAST TWO TIMES AFTER A CREDIT APP HAS BEEN RUN. I HAVE PROOF OF ALL OF THIS AND WILL BE POSTING PICTURES LATER THIS EVENING.
