Dan Threet...the MOST unprofessional salesman

I have waited 33 hours before writing this review waiting for an apology from the owner of Cookeville Honda because of the unprofessional conduct of Internet salesman Dan Threet. I communicated on Sunday that I was interested in a used CRV for sale. Threet responded on Monday at 9:55 am that the CRV I was interested in was available. I responded by email and arranged an appointment to see the vehicle on Tuesday. I called him from Knoxville after 11am on Tuesday to insure the vehicle we were interested was available and he confirmed it was and that we would meet at 2pm to test drive the vehicle. At 12:14 I received a sales appointment confirmation from Threet to meet at 2pm. We arrive after driving 97 miles and the sales staff attempted to find him. He apparently "was out on the lot next door" and directed his associate Randy to assist us and gave him the vehicle description. Randy was a true professional salesman and searched for the vehicle only to find out that the vehicle had already been sold and was being detailed. Randy was embarrassed for this situation and quite apologetic. Mr Threet did not make any attempt to return to the showroom to apologize for his many miscommunications and my impression was that Three was employing a classic BS (bait and switch) used car salesman game.

Dillion Flowers was very helpful

My parents called him on Monday to get information about help with a Va loan and got the answers we needed. Called them asked them to come in today and had all the paperwork ready. Helped with the vehicle choices and explained all the different ones. Told my parents if they needed anything to call him. Overall we had a great experience with a great salesman. Thank you Dillion for all you did they love the van.

Falsified mileage on used car

Watch out for LIES and DECEIT! Bought a car,...to find out four days later that the mileage was WRONG. Immediately notified my salesman,...tried to call finance guy and he was out sick. I got the run around for FIVE DAYS. Spoke to the used car manager who proceeded to be very unprofessional and rude. He talked to me like I was a dog. I’ve left MULTIPLE messages for the GM,...to no avail. I’m willing to settle this with corrected paperwork and an adjustment to the price. However,...they can’t be reasonable. At this point,...it’s the principle! ALL customers deserve respect and no member of management should ever be condescending to a buyer. I do absolutely love the car I bought,...but the rest of the experience has been far less than acceptable.

Falsified mileage on ad and on paperwork

Falsified mileage,...and the manager talked to me like I was an idiot. Very condescending. I will NEVER recommend or return to them for ANYTHING. I have rude text messages to support the terrible way in which the situation has been handled. Bad business ethics!

I can not express enough gratitude and admiration for the Salesman Dillon Flowers. He was absolutely a delight and pleasure to deal with. His knowledge and courtesy was above and beyond! Billy J. Daniels is a wonderful sales professiona!

Excellent experience purchasing my 2016 Chevy Trax! Billy found the vehicle at a sister dealership and brought it to me!! Highest praise for this excellent dealership!

Buying a used car

I am always uneasy when it comes to buying a car, especially if I am trading another one in. Victory Honda has been fair and great to deal with. Remember they are car salesman

Please read this carefully and consider this review before purchasing a vehicle from Cookeville Honda. I contacted the dealership on a Monday about a car I was interested in. We set up an appointment for the following Friday and made it clear that if the vehicle of interest was sold before then to contact me. Thursday evening the salesman which is also a friend contacted me to confirm our appointment for a test drive. Also mentioned other colors of the vehicle was available. Turns out that salesman had sold the car himself and did not mention this on the phone. Show up Friday hop in a new SUV with the salemans to drive over to the used dealership. The salesman drove us around the parking lot looking for the vehicle which he had sold the night before. He even went into the store to look for the keys and comes back out and tells us someone sold it already. Too bad his photo was with the vehicle on Facebook. xxxxxxx. Then tried to get us to test drive many other vehicles. So long story short the salesman are willing to cut the throat of their own friends to make a sale. So buyer beware. They don’t like you they like your money. @DillionFlowers

One star isn't low enough.

Dan Threet was amazing. However, the other salesman and sales manager were horrible. They lie to you, and try to bully you into a purchase. After I left another salesman called, he insulted me with the way he acted and his behavior was terrible. This place needs to learn customer service!
