Unethical Stay Away

This is for Rick Case Used Cars - in particular salesman Andres Amaya. I helped my recent college grad buy a used car. I purchased new tires for this car that had 30,000 miles, and the service department installed the new tires, so they KNEW OF THE PROBLEM I AM ABOUT TO DESCRIBE. Since then, my son moved to Jacksonville for work and took his car into a Honda dealer there for service where the tires were rotated. Let me preface this by saying that not once did my son touch the tires to fix a flat or anything. This was the first time that someone other than the people at Rick Case looked at the tires. It turns out, the front left tire was missing a rod and bolt to hold the tire on properly. These people have some nerve selling a car like that, not even disclosing this blatant safety hazard. If they didn't want to pay to fix it, they should have at least informed us of the issue. This is negligence, lack of ethics and pure sleaze. This just personifies every bad stereotype of a used car dealer/salesman. Clearly they didn't care about the safety of the driver (or others on the road) by selling a car KNOWING of this problem. They just wanted to make a sale no matter what the collateral damage could have been. I intend to report this to every agency possible. I know they will deny this, but what else do you expect from people with so little ethics?

I worked with Danny Guerra. I arrived in advance of a 7 am appointment time for recalls. The wait time was longer than expected, however, the repair of the car was the most important — worth waiting for. Danny initially offered a shuttle to my home — I declined and chose waiting. My daughter’s HRV is reliable again, and her pink rims were no damaged during the added tire rotation. The experience was pleasant, considering it started so early in the morning when most are grumpy.

Job well done

This repair visit had one task to complete and it was done to perfection. A complicated sensor had to be recalibrated and that job gives immediate results upon driving. A mistake in workmanship on this part could impair your safe driving. The service advisor Melvin gave us complete confidence that we were in the correct shop to get the job done. Thank you

Oil change

The service was fine. The problem was the employees inside the used car show rooms... it seems as though there’s a lack of supervision. Employees were yelling and screaming and cutting up . It was very unprofessional and this is not the first time this has happen.... On Sundays the used car showroom is a complete circus. I usually get my service done on Sunday. Please look into this..... it’s quite annoying.
