Fans of the Hemi V-8 engine have had a rough few years. The Dodge Challenger is no more, the Charger is going electric, and even Ram trucks are abandoning the Hemi in favor of the new Hurricane twin-turbo straight-six. It’s even bleaker if you’re a Hellcat fan, with parent automaker Stellantis’ multi-brand lineup going from “Are we going to get a Hellcat Pacifica minivan next?” levels of ubiquity to only one model left for the 2025 model year with the supercharged V-8: the Dodge Durango three-row SUV. To celebrate 20 years of Hemi power, the 2025 Durango is getting two limited-run, special-edition variants: the SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet and R/T 20th Anniversary.

Hell Yeah, Hellcat
If you’re going to grab one of the last supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V-8s on sale, you might as well spring for the first-ever Durango SRT Hellcat special edition. The 2025 Durango SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet features some snazzy visual cues to set it apart: Triple Nickel silver paint, a satin-black hood, satin-black Dodge badging across the rear, gray metallic SRT Hellcat badging and black SRT exhaust tips. Inside, there are dark-red Nappa leather sport seats with SRT Hellcat embroidery on the seatbacks, a suede headliner and steering wheel, forged carbon-fiber accents and contrasting sepia and silver stitching. Red six-piston Brembo brakes and wide gloss-black 20-inch wheels make sure you keep that horsepower in control.
These nice little extras won’t weigh it down too much, of course. As with the standard Durango SRT Hellcat, an eight-speed automatic transmission sends the engine’s 710 horsepower to all four wheels. Dodge claims the Durango SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet can bolt from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds, hit a top speed of 180 mph and run an 11.5-second quarter mile. Why have three rows of seating if you can’t pin the whole family to the backs of their seats?
The Silver Bullet special edition’s extras extend to creature comforts that are usually found in add-on packages for the regular SRT Hellcat. It packs a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with an 825-watt amplifier, a second-row console with armrest, a moonroof and a 10.1-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and wireless charging come standard, along with a suite of advanced driver assists including blind spot monitoring with trailer detection, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking.
20 Years of Hemis
Dodge’s fan-favorite Hemi V-8 made its way into the Durango in the 2004 model year, and the Durango R/T 20th Anniversary is here to celebrate that milestone. In addition to a normally aspirated 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 under the hood, it gets simulated-suede sport seats embroidered with “345” (to signify the engine’s displacement in cubic inches), forged carbon-fiber interior accents, black exterior badging and a unique black Hemi graphic on the hood. It rides on lightweight forged 20-inch wheels finished in a brushed antique brass color and features 345 badges that match the wheels.
The R/T 20th Anniversary also comes equipped with the Tow N Go Package, which boosts the towing capacity to 8,700 pounds and equips the SUV with black six-piston Brembo brakes, an adaptive damping suspension, performance-tuned steering and an active exhaust system. When you’re ready for the “Go” part of that, the R/T 20th Anniversary extends the SRT Track Experience to the R/T variant for the first time, which lets buyers experience a one-day Dodge high-performance driving school in Arizona.
The R/T 20th Anniversary comes in two trims: Plus and Premium. The Plus includes a nine-speaker Alpine audio system, power moonroof, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row captain’s chairs, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a host of standard driver assists including adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and blind spot monitoring with trailer detect. The Premium builds on the Plus trim’s content by adding a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with an 825-watt amplifier, black roof rails, a suede headliner, and additional safety tech including advanced brake assist and an enhanced lane departure warning system.
