The Dodge Durango three-row SUV seats up to seven and competes with the Chevrolet Traverse, Honda Pilot and Kia Telluride. Unlike many of its rivals, the Durango can be something of a high-riding muscle car thanks to its optional V-8 engines. These range from a 360-horsepower, 5.7-liter V-8 to a 475-hp, 6.4-liter V-8 in the SRT 392 trim level. A 293-hp, 3.6-liter V-6 engine is standard.

Should I Buy the 2022 Dodge Durango?
The Durango offers plenty of stretch-out space in its first and second rows, as well as an intuitive multimedia system. Some rivals feel more agile and easier to maneuver, but Dodge’s available V-8 engines — particularly the 6.4-liter V-8 — deliver plenty of power. The SUV can tow as much as 8,700 pounds when properly equipped. Those V-8s are thirsty, however, and we wish Dodge made more of the Durango’s optional active safety features standard.
