I left the dealership without granting permission to...

I left the dealership without granting permission to submit my offer to any banks after their sales dept acted unethically. It was made clear that we were not going to be purchasing their car, yet later the next day I received multiple notifications that their dealership was checking my credit against multiple bureaus. I emailed them asking them to stop and desist any credit actions. I walked to the Acura dealer next door and purchased a vehicle with no drama. Cable Dahmer has lost a customer for life due to their practices. They build $3k worth of hidden "upgrades" into every vehicle on the lot, and refuse to remove one or more of them even if the buyer doesn't want them. Also, if you have no vehicle to trade in, they add $1000 to the listed price of every vehicle on the lot. This is essentially punishing buyers who do not wish to trade a vehicle in. The dealer wants buyers to trade vehicles in because it provides the dealer with yet another angle to make money via low trade in offers. Sales dept resorts to anger and defiant attitudes when customer points any of these issues out. I have multiple vehicles to purchase for my teen kids, but it won't be from cable dahmer.

Good customer service

I purchased a vehicle at Cable Dahmer. It was a good experience , Ken Walker was my sales person he was professional and helpful throughout the process. I will definitely recommend others.

I've purchased four cars now from Cable Dahmer and they all have been great experiences. Troy was my recent salesman on a new car. We took a car we ended up taking in for some work. It made more financial sense to purchase a new one. Troy and team there made the whole process seemless.

Great dealership

I've purchased four cars now from Cable Dahmer and they all have been great experiences. Troy was my recent salesman on a new car. We took a car we ended up taking in for some work. It made more financial sense to purchase a new one. Troy and team there made the whole process seemless.

Car was supposed to be available, but wasn't.

We made an appointment for a test drive. When they called me back to confirm the time and which car it was, they said that it was on the lot and available. 40 minutes later, when we arrive (that was how far we had to drive to get there), they could not find the car. After wandering the lot with one of the managers for 10 minutes, we found out that the car had been sold that morning. Why did they tell us it available when it wasn't? How long does it really take to enter SOLD in the computer?

Trying to Buy Used Truck

I did not enjoy my experience with Cable Dahmer. I was trying to trade in my truck and buy a 2017 F-150 on Saturday (04/04/20). I filled out a credit app and sent all the information they needed to try and get it financed. Later that Saturday I was told it would be Monday, then it was Tuesday and then Wednesday. Everyday I was told by Troy (Salesmen) that it was getting done. Troy called me Wednesday morning and said that since my truck was not showing on my credit report that I could not trade it in. I have never heard anything like this. It appears they only tried to finance me through Ally and GM Financial and never tried any other banks. I find it hard to believe that the dealership only uses two banks for all of its financing needs. I sent two emails and a text message to follow up with other questions and asking for any other options after I was told they couldn’t make the deal. I never got a reply and the messages were sent around 11:00 am on Wednesday about 30 minutes after the phone call from Troy. I also find it kind of weird that when I was trying to buy the truck it was listed for $28,000 and then after being left in the dark on Wednesday with several questions. The truck was listed at $33,000, then appears to have been sold the very next day. I feel like they had a better deal come along on the truck and they just wanted to end my transaction. Why would it take 4 days to tell me they couldn’t get financing when they only tried two banks. Seems like only customers with great credit can do business at Cable Dahmer.

Finance Team is Best in Class

There was a mixup with the salesperson listed on my appointment as well as pricing variances from online price, but after your standard car buying negotiations we were able to get the corrected price and a good interest rate.

They call right back or answer when you are wanting to...

They call right back or answer when you are wanting to purchase a vehicle; however, they are not friendly or helpful when returning a lease vehicle. They refused to take the keys unless it was on their time even if it was past my lease end date which would cause me problems, the receptionist kept hanging up on me, and the manager told me even though my car has been on the lot for 24 hours he was going to say it wasn’t returned or not ground it making me still liable. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
