Bait and Switch

Bait & Switch! The website shows one price but the real numbers are inflated with loads of 'options that are already installed'. After 4 hours of back and forth they finally admitted some of those 'installed' options are... optional. I think there were 3 more that were optional and would have gotten into the ballpark that i started at. What an exhausting waste of time!

Bought a car from them with a cracked windshield.

Bought a car from them with a cracked windshield. They said they'll call me when it comes in. It's been 4 weeks since I bought the car and it's still cracked. I've called at least 6 times and I've been told each time that "it should be in in a couple days." I believe they are banking on me forgetting about it. Also, don't believe the price you see online. They add in close to $3,000 for stuff you didn't agree to but it's their "Cable Dahmer Advantage." I won't buy another car from them.

Horrible Ending

Horrible once we were in paperwork part. We were pre-approved and financing was acting like they couldn't find it. Scammers. I had to show email from bank to prove interest rate. A week later I was harassed for about 10 days about a piece of paperwork that is available online. I had to threaten to sue for harassment for them to actually look it up. It's like they are always trying to find ways to rip you off. Once last nite I had turned down an extra they were offering, the finance department showed me a discount of $ 6000 so I would except. So never except first offer on any extras, otherwise they are ripping you of. I could go on for days. Be very careful.

They will tell you anything you want to hear to get you

They will tell you anything you want to hear to get you to buy a car, but will not follow through, even with written proof in an IOU that was signed during contract. when you follow up they will tell you “maybe you don’t remember.” No, I remember because these changes were the only reason I bought this car, and 100% wish I would have walked away!

Fantastic Service

Mike Hooper, the new car salesman, was very professional and helpful in walking me through the steps to order and receive my new car. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle, and plan to be back next time I'm in need.

I came Cable Dahmer in Independence, only to see a specific car and intent to look only. I met Abby, her smile could clear up a stormy sky. She has a beautiful personality and energy to match. Abbey asked the right questions, didn't feel pushy or rushed. I came in to look at 2019 Chevy Malibu in Paciific Blue. I knew the color was what I wanted. She had us test drive the car right away. She told us the history (CarFax) and items done by their shop. The Malibu drove smooth. I felt excitement (I WANT) in the pit of my stomach. Abbey listened to my concerns (price, miles and few minor cosmetic issues) and went to work seeing if there were other vehicles available near us. There were a few, but, none of the gave me the same feeling. Abbey could see this and took my list of concerns to her Mgr. She conveyed perfectly what I wanted, willing to pay and expectations. There wasn't a ton of haggling. We completed the deal and I couldn't be happier. I've been driving the car about 3 weeks now. I have zero regrets and Abby even check in on me. One additional thing while working on my deal, Abbey was helping 3 additional customers that day. Although I was there for quite awhile. It didn't feel nearly as long. Abby always, che ked on us and kept us in the loop of steps that were be made. She is xxxx good at multitasking and I just want to say, "ABBEY THANK YOU!" This was the best car buying experience I've had in the 25 years I've been driving.

Take advantage of innocent hard working people

I wish I would of bought my car at the independence dealership my mom has bought 5 cars from them cash paid she even paid for my car I go to the one in lees summit and well let's just say shame on them the car was a lemon from the beginning they had to put a engine in it now 7 months later engine light is on they gave me a hard time when I took it in saying they would have to ship it to Hyundai they the ones that put the engine in it I told the man it don't matter I bought the car from them and the independence dealership said I would have to take it to them he said my car wouldn't be looked at for over a month and the loaner car is only free for two days I would have to pay 45 dollars a day then he listed all this other stuff I would have to pay I said it's not my problem they sold me the lemon car knowing it was a lemon car had to put a engine in it I didn't want the car but they already got there money from the bank they don't care about me having the lemon they knew I was going through the same situation with my kia and they sold me a different car with the same problem I hate it that they are messing with my life like they did I need a car my job requires it plus I am disabled shame on them no one will help me I am sick over the whole situation I need to call action news

Brought a new 5500 and have had a problem with the four

Brought a new 5500 and have had a problem with the four wheel drive since day one. Also bought the 5 year oil change plan. I've told them every time I've been in about the issue. They always tell me the are booked out and can't fix it. I made an appointment three weeks out and get there today to find out they don't have me in. Cooper tells me that they don't fix four wheel drive by appointment that I need to leave my truck with them 3 to 5 days and they will try to look at it. Even states that's how it's been done since he has been there (7 years). All the while talking louder and over me any time I tried to talk. I left the service department and went to find my salesman (Aaron). He wasn't there today, but did answer my phone call later. Went back to service and talked to a manager (Rich Frost) and another adviser (Taylor Swager). Now they are going to get the oil change, the broken gas cap, recall, and diagnose the four wheel drive issue done. Promised to call me before 3pm. I called back at 3:29 to check in. This time Taylor talked over me and acted like I was irritating him, but did tell me that a tech was looking at it. He called me back at 4:53 and informed me they had to get a part and would start working on it in the morning and might be done by lunch, again talking louder and over me one two many times. CUSTOMER SERVICE is HORRIBLE! Marty I hope this reaches you personally We do a lot of business through Chevy...............BAD look for you as We are expanding fleets of trucks. Mike 2023 Chevy 5500

We went to just to look but drove away in a gorgeous new Chevy Trailblazer. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure we were getting what we wanted within the budget we needed. If you are looking to purchase a new or used vehicle, I would definitely go visit the team at Cable-Dahmer on Nolan Road in Independence. I am in love with my cute little new car.
