Absolutely terrible customer service. We have been taking...

Absolutely terrible customer service. We have been taking our cars to VW forever and in the past year they’ve gotten a whole new staff and it’s a miracle they are still in business. I took my diesel SUV to get serviced (specifically to get the AdBlue topped off) before a long road trip to Wyoming. We set off on our trip and my sensor goes off telling me i’m almost out of AdBlue and my engine will be shutting down soon, we check and sure enough they didn’t put any in (we also checked for leaks and there were none-the dealer in Wyoming also confirmed there were no leaks). So we call from the-middle-of-nowhere Wyoming and speak to the service manager (Alex?) and he was absolutely terrible. He was rude on the phone, saying that i was lying because if I paid for a service it happened and this wasn’t their fault. I asked what we should do to keep the car running to make it to the next town and he told us to figure it out on our own. I also asked where the nearest dealer was and he said just call around and basically told us we were going to break down due to their negligence and it wasn’t his problem so we were xxxx out of luck. I am extremely disappointed in their service, and in the managers professionalism and customer service. I recommend no one take a vehicle there ever. They clearly don’t know what they’re doing in service and their staff and management don’t care about your business anyway. The dealer in Wyoming was extremely helpful, we called and they told us step by step what we needed to do to keep the car running so we were able to make it to them. Once we arrived they got us in immediately and even cancelled their afternoon appointments to accommodate us. They were all extremely pleasant and kind to us and our three dogs while we were waiting at their facility. Now THATS how customers should be treated. Thanks Freemont Volkswagen for cleaning up the mess Grand Junction VW made!

Dealer response

Dear Mrs. Garner: This is Ron Bubar, owner of Grand Junction Volkswagen. I am disappointed your vehicle failed while traveling. Your comment, “they didn’t put any [AdBlue] in” is not accurate; we did fill your Volkswagen to capacity with AdBlue. Regarding your comment “staff and management don’t care about your business anyway” is also not accurate. We are concerned about you and your vehicle to the point that we contacted Freemont Volkswagen, spoke with their staff to ensure the vehicle failure was not a result of our service, and it was not. A sensor failed causing your travel interruption. Freemont Volkswagen also provided a copy of the repair order, which outlines their effort. Their technician writes “I checked the level of the AdBlue and found it to be full. I then checked the quality of the AdBlue with refractometer and found the quality passes its test.” Further he writes “I checked and found faults in the ECM and found fault stored for P207F for reductal quality performance, P20EE SCR CAT below efficiency and P204F reductant consumption to low.” Mrs. Garner, if you would like to discuss this with me, or if any other person would care to contact me regarding our service department, I can be reached on my cell phone: (970) 778-9577. Thank You & Best Regards - Ron

Great experience working with Skyler Marx and Chris Matlock. They were kind, transparent, smart and funny. They also took time to discuss fine print details on financing and owner operating tips. Time well spent!

Professional, friendly, knowledgeable

We purchased our dream family vehicle with this team and are very pleased with our experience. We worked with Frank "the Tank" and Chris throughout the sales and financial closure process. They were both professional, friendly, and honest. We are also pleased with the value of our purchase and believe we were able to find a great deal on a beautiful new vehicle for our family. We highly recommend this dealership and this team of professionals.

Inquired about a Toyota Sequoia online thru Carguru.com Gary responded in short order, and we were able to schedule a visit. The car had just arrived, so pictured were unavailable online. Gary took plentiful pictures and texted them over. Long story short. Happy Sequoia driver.

Brian was great to work with. He listened to what I was looking for and found me exactly what I wanted. Brian made the process so fast and easy. Chris in financing got the numbers exactly where I needed them to be, I could not have asked for a better team.
