Great Experience Buying a Used Car

I contacted the dealership by phone about a car I saw on the website and spoke with Greg. He set up an appointment that was at a convenient time, and had the car ready to go for a test drive when I arrived. He was friendly and professional, and knew quite a bit of detail about the car's features. Pricing was reasonable and, while some "back and forth," waiting while the manager is asked was done, (as is usual when buying a car), it was not excessive and was not aggravating at all. We ended up buying the car for what we felt was a fair price and the entire deal was closed promptly and without any issue. The car is great and I would definitely recommend this dealership and Greg Ford specifically.

Brand New 2015 Dodge Charger R/T

When I got to the dealership I was greeted by a few people and Harry was notified that I was there for my scheduled test drive. Harry is very knowledgeable about the all the vehicles. He gave me some information that I already knew, but importantly he informed me on many things I did not know. He also knew which car I really wanted without me having to tell him. Once we got in the car for the test drive he continued to give me information about the car from the features on down to the maintenance. Once we were back from the test drive we went inside and the process for the paper was was very swift and smooth. I was there for about 2 hours which is great compared to other places I have been. Harry was very friendly and not pushy at all. I feel like he was looking out for my best interest. Overall I give my experience two thumbs up!

5 Star Service. Stan and the entire team at Capital CJD are awesome! Best Dealer in the State of NC. Barry and Stan go above and beyond on every sale. Steve is the best finance manager in the business as well. Capital CJD makes it very clear that they appreciate every person that comes on their lot. Good sales and customer service. Good for their word.

I bought a 2015 Chrysler 200S there from Greg Reinhard. He was very kind, low-key, non-pressuring and fair. He waited patiently as I ran all the details by my brother over the phone and gave me plenty of time to think things through. He even threw in a free trunk net for my groceries. Even though I live far away from Capital Chrysler Jeep Dodge, I will trade with them again.

Misleading and persistent advertising

Company routinely sends mail ads for their products that are designed to be misleading. For example: * Scratch off this circle - if the number revealed matches this one here, you've WON! (Actually, EVERY SINGLE ONE of these is a 'winner', and is typically given a cheap lottery ticket as a 'prize'.) * A very official-looking envelope ("Postal Notification", "Final expiration date is...", a window showing an "Authorized Signature"), but with no company name, and a return address in Kentucky. Fake check included ("This is not a check"), and possibility of winning $5000 cash (1 in 5,500 chance, have to have the mailer and be physically present during a 7-hour window at the dealership). * A memo from one employee to another expressing interest in buying [insert your make & model here], with a handwritten note to you saying they REALLY want to buy your specific vehicle. Except that both are actually preprinted, and the original memo probably never happened. They DO NOT honor requests to be taken off of their mailing list; I have asked multiple times, and even did a BBB complaint against them, which they ignored for 2 years. If you EVER go to them for anything, they will never leave you alone again!

Best dealer ever met!

Purchased a new Dodge Caravan about one year ago. Never forgot the great experience there. I had been looking around for a while. In contrast to other dealers who always tried to fool me around and wasted my time, They were very honest, knowledgeable and straight to the business. Not only I got the dream car, I also got the best price. No doubts, I will recommend this dealership to all the people I know.

We stand in awe of the customer care exhibited by everyone at this dealership, specifically, Sal Ragano, the sales associate who led us on the journey to select a vehicle. Sal catered to the needs of my handicapped wife and physically lifted her into the vehicle. His kindness towards my wife meant a great deal to me. I was amazed by his detailed explanation of the Capital car buying process, specifically each and every feature on every single vehicle I test drove. While I normally dread the car buying experience and despise a pushy sales rep who tries to pull the whole over my eyes with his smooth talk and lies to make the sale. I never got this with Sal. He was a totally educated, informed and honest employee...there to do a job but did that job with flawless professionalism. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a vehicle go to Capital, a prime dealership with the good sense to employ loyal, dedicated and professionally and ethically minded employees of folks like Sal Ragano. We will shop with Sal and Capital for many years to come. Their integrity and professionalism is unsurpassed! My wife wants all the ladies out there to know that Sal ain't half bad to look at either...just a handsome bonus with a heart of gold. We love being a part of Team Sal!!!

Customer disservice

They sell an inferior product from a company with no customer service. I bought a new Ram truck, Long Horn, it came with every option possible and I paid handsomely for it. From the start I had issues with the radio. The dealer replaced the radio and is now replacing the amp. Chrysler assigned me a case manager that refused to call me back or address the issue. She stated that the truck was fine since it was only the radio that wasn’t working. I have a truck that has been in the shop 4 times in the last 5 months and the issue still isn’t resolved. The nice thing about no radio is you can hear all the rattles. I would avoid this product if possible.
