Worked with Joe and Kyle to buy my mustang. They were awesome. Did not pressure me even asked if I needed time to think about it. First time I've ever had a dealership do that. Great experience. Will definitely be a repeat customer here.

My interactions with the service department have not been

My interactions with the service department have not been pleasant. A few years ago there was a situation with my glove box. I noticed that it was broken after I had my car serviced by Huntersville Ford. I explained to the service department what had happened only to be spoken to unpleasantly like I was the problem. The interaction put a bad taste in my mouth and honestly made me feel uncomfortable with this dealership. I usually try to take things in stride and move past problems. The kit to repair the glove box was ordered. I was told that I would be notified when it arrived. I opted to go to the dealership closer to my home to have the glove box fixed. I explained the situation and scheduled an appointment. When I presented for my appointment, I was told that they were unable to fix my car because they didn’t have the kit in stock. I was again told that I would need to wait for the kit. I was very frustrated with the entire situation. I was told that Huntersville had the kit intended to repair my vehicle. My glovebox again didn’t get fixed. I was dealing with health issues and broke a bone in my back. My leg was paralyzed and it was difficult for me to walk. So taking care of certain tasks was not easy because I was dealing with mobility issues For a while I have been trying to get my bearing. Some time had passed but I have been finally feeling better. I scheduled an appointment to finally get my glovebox fixed. I decided to schedule it with Huntersville ford seeing as how they had the kit last. On the day of my appointment I was informed by Chris in service that I would have to pay for the repair to my glove box. I explained that the box was broken when I bought the car in for service. Chris , in a very snappy way stated that he wasn’t going to argue with me, he got up from his desk and told me that I can go speak to another employee. Everyone knows that customer service is down the toilet but it doesn’t make these interactions any less disappointing. In addition to this issue the original reason that I presented to this dealership several years ago was never resolved. The way my car switches gears when I’m driving “ I’m no mechanic but I know it’s not supposed to do that.. when I drive my car there is a constant whistling noise when the vehicle reaches over 30 mph. But the mechanics here told me that they didn’t notice anything. Soo that problem still exists as well. Honestly I am kinda in between a rock and a hard place because as per my warranty I must take it to a dealer or said warranty will be null and void.
