I bought a new rav4 from this dealership for my wife. My wife noticed car would shudder occasionally when you took off. She evened called swope to ask them about it. She said the man said it was an anomaly. Always took care of maintenance on car..My wife went to leave one morning and when she started Toyota the lights on the dash read all wheel trac off but no check engine light. The Toyota is a 2015 has only 93000 miles,,I took it to big O and they did a diagnostic test. They said take it to a transmission shop and that there was no code because check engine light was not on. I took car to a mechanic I have known for many years. He hooked up computer to Toyota and said he couldn’t get a code because check engine light was not on. Toyota was downshifting when you took off. Tim Frye the mechanic knew of previous problems with this make. He stated there were 4 cellnoids ? In transmission 2 lower and 2 upper but he didn’t know which ones were bad. He could change the lower ones but could not do the uppers without pulling transmission. It was a gamble whether it would work. I took a chance and purchased 2 lower cellinoids but it didn’t work. Tim found a transmission with very low miles @nd a warranty. He installed it and car ran and shifted like a new one. About 3 months later wife went to leave and trac off lights were on in the Toyota. It was also downshifting. There was no check engine light on. Tim the mechanic was lost for words did a diagnostic test but no code came up. I contacted another mechanic that said the transmission had to be reprogrammed by dealer..I had car towed to swope to reprogram transmission or Flash. After contacting Mike at swope he stated they couldn’t flash it because the transmission was a salvageable transmission and it had a problem. He stated it could be electrical possibly a pinched wire or one of a million things..I was charged 159.00 to tell me my transmission had a problem. Mike said it was showing a cellinoid problem. That’s what was put in original transmission. Why would the exact same thing happen again. I think the communication was poor. Any how it was not a good experience

I took my car to get a oil change and tries rotated.

I took my car to get a oil change and tries rotated. I ask service tech if they would check air pressure because my front tires were low. The service tech yes. When I was driving home from work I checked to see if the pressure was same in each tire. The pressure was the same as when I took it in. This is how I know I didn’t get the tire rotation I paid for. My wife took her car for the same service and it took two hours and my car took 45 minutes.

Tim Patillo is great!

Tim Patillo is great! Tim is my first call when searching for my new vehicle. If you want a stress free buying experience go no further and stop in and see my friend Tim. I don't hesitate to send my friends and family to go see Tim for their vehicle needs. My brother, my daughter, my aunt, and 4 of my friends have all purchased their vehicles from Tim. Now you have a friend in the car business!

Tim Patella was amazing!

Tim Patella was amazing! I told him what I wanted and he delivered and more. This is not my first visit, I left another dealer who wouldn't give me correct information. Let alone, the service and all I asked. He was informative and timely every time. His word can be trusted. Finance dept. Same, I told them what I wanted and it was done. The reputation of Toyota is still top notch. Thank you, for all you did what an amazing experience.

Salesperson, Ed, was professional, friendly, helpful. Answered all my questions. During purchase in the absence of Ed, assisted by Tim who was also very professional, customer friendly, helpful and answered all my questions. Other employees who were present were just as friendly. Great experience from choosing a vehicle to purchase with finance officer,Daniel.
