What Is the 2021 Nissan GT-R?

Nissan has earned a spot in the annals of all-time high-performance cars with its iconic GT-R. The current version is a 2+2 supercar with all-wheel drive and a standard 565-horsepower, 3.8-liter V-6 engine with twin turbochargers; in NISMO models, the engine is rated at 600 hp. The GT-R competes with the Porsche 911 and Chevrolet Corvette.

What’s New on the 2021 Nissan GT-R?

There are no significant changes this year.

What Features in the 2021 Nissan GT-R Are Most Important?

  • Muscular V-6 engine
  • Driver-adjustable adaptive suspension
  • Standard all-wheel drive
  • 20-inch wheels
  • Massive brake rotors and Brembo calipers
  • Backseat can carry adults in a pinch

Should I Buy the 2021 Nissan GT-R?

Buying a GT-R puts you in an exclusive ownership club, as only a few hundred are sold every year — making rivals like the 911 and Corvette look like high-volume models by comparison. But while the GT-R has the chops to run with its competitors, it’s basically the same car that debuted in the U.S. for 2009, making it an old-timer compared with its closest rivals.

Best performance car vs value for money

Super compact car, acceleration is breath taking, the performance from 2021 GTR is the best you can get. Nismo is just really for track, if you want a daily drive just take a G-TR Performance model.
