nissan armada 2023 exterior oem 01 jpg

The Armada is Nissan’s interpretation of what a full-size SUV should be, combining competitive towing capability with ample family-friendly space at a relative bargain. Refreshed for the 2021 model year to better fight the rival Chevrolet Tahoe, Ford Expedition and Toyota Sequoia, the 2023 Armada carries over similarly from 2022 with minimal changes at a refreshed starting price of $52,095 (all pricing includes destination), $500 more than the outgoing starting price.

Amazon Alexa Built-In Enhances Infotainment Experience

While the Armada carries over to 2023 largely unchanged, Nissan has added Amazon Alexa Built-In software to the SV, SL and Platinum trim levels. The software suite allows owners to use Alexa voice commands to play music, place phone calls, control smart home devices and other features.

Elsewhere, the SV gets LED foglights, remote keyless start and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The slightly more luxury-focused SL gets a standard heated-steering wheel for the new model year.

Pricing and Release Date

The 2023 Nissan Armada is on sale now. Full pricing for the lineup is below and includes the $1,695 destination fee, up $200 from 2022:

  • S: $52,095
  • SV: $56,645
  • SL: $60,065
  • Platinum: $68,415

All variants are still powered by a 400-horsepower, 5.6-liter V-8 engine paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard; four-wheel drive is optional and adds $3,000. The Midnight Edition Package is once again available as an extra on the SL trim for $1,990, while the Captain’s Chairs Package can be added to the SL and Platinum for $750.

Great vehicle!

This is our third Armada since 2012. First two were not new and we had great performance out of them. We were fortunate that general maintenance and upkeep was all we ever did to them. I will likely stay in this line as long as it is available. Having a ‘23, I will likely not be looking for a long while.

Platinum armada is my favorite.

Amazing full size suv, spacious, comfortable, filled with technology. My platinum is excellent to travel with 2 small dogs and golf bags. Not fuel efficient for 2023 gas prices. Well, will keep my amazing toy no matter the gas price. As a Nissan employee lease member, we try and change cars every 7 to 9 months, so far the armada is my top 2 behind the Infiniti qx60.
