The QX80 is powered by a 400-horsepower, 5.6-liter V-8 engine that works with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Rear- and four-wheel-drive models are available.

Should I Buy the 2022 Infiniti QX80?

The QX80 is upscale, powerful, comfortable and offers solid towing capability. The new 12.3-inch touchscreen helps modernize the cabin. The third row is a little cozy for adults, however, and while cargo space behind the third row may be fine for routine errands, it might be tight for long-distance family road trips. The V-8 engine delivers a lot of grunt, but it also uses a lot of gas.

LEMON DO NOT PURCHASE

October of 2023 has now made it one year with my QX80. We have been through two high pressure fuel pumps, one standard fuel pump (in tank I have been told), several visits to the dealership for infotainment not functioning including mileage counter, and have been told I can not install a trailer brake controller without voiding warranty. This was not told to me at the time I was purchasing the vehicle. In the past I have owned a 2008 QX56 and loved the vehicle. The 2022 model is unreliable, and Infiniti has proven that it does not care about their customers. At least the Infiniti of Warwick, RI service department has. I have reached out to Infiniti corporate and have not heard back. I believe I have been sold an $80k lemon and now that I am having issues no one will help. Please do yourself a favor and do not purchase a QX80. They do not care about their customers and will leave you with an overpriced lemon that they can not/will not fix.
