What Is the 2021 Ford Edge?

The Ford Edge is a mid-size SUV that can seat up to five. It has a standard 250-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine or an available 335-hp, twin-turbo 2.7-liter V-6 that goes in the performance-oriented ST trim level. The base engine works with an eight-speed automatic transmission while the ST has a seven-speed automatic. Front- and all-wheel-drive models are offered. Competitors include the Chevrolet Blazer, Honda Passport and Hyundai Santa Fe.

What’s New on the 2021 Ford Edge?

A new multimedia system with a vertically oriented 12-inch touchscreen and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity is standard.

Standard features include:

  • 18-inch aluminum wheels
  • Dual-zone automatic climate control

2021 Ford Edge ST Line

I have owned my 2021 Ford Edge ST LINE since September of 2021. It is now April 2024, and I can say without a doubt, that I am very satisfied with the vehicle. I have taken long trips with it, and it was very comfortable. I have nothing negative to say about this vehicle.

TRY A FORD EDGE

Never in my life have I owned a Ford but this is my second Ford Edge. A 2021 Edge ST is my second and although the Titanium version was a pleasure the ST with it's handling and performance is a step above. The Edge is more comfortable than most SUV's with much more hauling capacity. Just a great fun car to drive and quite a value.
