Didn't Buy A Car From Them... But Wish I Had!
I did NOT end up purchasing a vehicle from Cable Dahmer Chevrolet, let me get that out of the way up front... but I wish I HAD because I have nothing but praise for them! The ONLY reason I purchased a vehicle from someone else was because Cable Dahmer didn't have the EXACT car I was looking for... but they came so close. For starters, I was looking for a Black 2012 - 2015 Chevrolet Sonic RS 6-Speed Manual Turbo with under 100K Miles for around $6,000... and what they had to offer was a Dark Gray 2013 Chevrolet Sonic LT 6-Speed Manual Turbo with under 100K Miles for around $6,000... so close right? Everyone from the sales staff, to the customer service rep, to the finance officer were so kind, responsible and willing to work with me. They were all very patient and understanding as they bent over backwards to meet all of my requests during this Covid-19 Crisis. They were not pushy at all and they all communicated well via phone calls, texts, emails, pictures and videos despite the fact that they're based in Kansas City, MO and I'm in Dallas, TX. I was on the verge of making the 7- hour road trip up there to purchase the car they had to offer and had even placed a $500 deposit down to make it happen. But the weekend before my planned trip is when I found the car I ended up with being sold by an individual seller. In the end, Cable Dahmer was very understanding and I had no issues with keeping my $500 deposit back. I would HIGHLY recommend working with them for your car purchase needs. They are VERY professional and you'll be glad you did!

Pushy, and condescending, salesman
Everything was okay until after the test drive. Then it was time to talk about the car. We decided that we wanted the car, so a price was negotiating. But during this process, the salesman kept repeating himself and spoke to us like we were idiots. Even after putting up with all that, we decided that we would get the car, since it was what we were looking for. We were led to believe that we were getting a tremendous deal, even though that was not true. (We would bring up certain things about the car, and all he would say was "it passed inspection".) After we wrapped up the financing, we were given the keys. As we go out to get the car, we notice that there was damage on the front end. (The carfax said it was in the back.) When we showed this to the salesman, all he said was that there was no way his manager was going to pay for any repairs, since "we got such a good deal". This was said with a grin on his face and a condescending tone of "sucks to be you". He gave me the feeling that he thought we were a family of suckers and that he got one on us. We won't ever be going back.

Poor Customer Service
I just recently just bought my 2018 Camaro 1SS 1LE from Cable Dahmer. In the contract I have a paint correction, floor mats, and “swap wheels when camaro comes in with options”. I have yet to receive any of those and it’s been dang near three months. I’ve been working with these guys to try to figure something out but it’s just more and more hoops to jump through. This is my FIRST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE AND IT SUCKED!! I teased the idea that it would be a good idea for them to loan me a loaner car until they can get me everything that was on the contract. They refused that idea because they didn’t know how long it would be?!?! This is just getting so ridiculous and I’m so tired of waiting for something that should’ve been done a month ago. I would advise EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM CABLE DAHMER INDEPENDENCE!!!

Great at wasting time, unorganized, rude, unproffessional
Sammy H. Nasr is rude and fails to follow up with customers. Even blames the customer for his lack of effort. Had every intention to buy a truck from them. Sent Sammy several photos of my car and my vin for a trade appraisal. Next day I reach out to him, and ask if he has any info on my trade. Tells me truck i want is in the shop and was in a wreck, i tell him ok no big deal, i still would like a trade in appraisal. He says ok, and i dont hear anything for two days. I follow back up with him, and he says to talk to another salesman and that I am belligerent and refuses to deal with me. I tell him i am not being belligerent and all i want is my appraisal that i took the time for photos and getting the vin number etc. I ask to speak to his boss, he refuses to answer me and blows me off. I email the dealership and ask to talk to the general manager or owner to make them aware of Sammy. That was two weeks ago, no follow up. Way to ruin a sale with a customer looking to buy right now!

Burned before by others, but a Great Experience!?!
Went to Robert Brogden GMC and hated every bit of the buying process... They take advantage of you and even at times belittled me for not knowing the process... So rightfully so was leary but Aaron Beck at Cable Dahmer made me a believer and helped walk me through to help me pick the right Malibu for me! Can't thank him enough for making me a believer and would highly recommend working with him and this Dealership anyday for new or used. Won't buy anywear else!

Average experience
Salesman was great and was trying to bend over backwards. Sales manager not so much, didn’t trust me enough to take the car alone for a test drive, complete initial lowball on trade offer. Be advised their sale price listed is not their price. $2,000 for “dealership add ons” that are on every car they have I was told. After I left they finally gave me a decent offer for my trade and close to advertised price. Wouldn’t have purchased from them if my wife didn’t really like the car would have found one elsewhere.

"Fully Disclosed Fees"
I have bought a few cars at Cable Dahmer. Unfortunately, they have taken a turn into the shade. All of their pricing on the web is less a nearly $1100.00 markup. This of course makes all of their listings appear to be "Good/Great Deals". The justification for this, as was explained to me at the dealership is, "Everybody does it that way, if we didn't- we would miss all the business." and, " The nitrogen and paint protection are installed to protect your mileage and investment, totally worth $900.00." Too bad, they had a car I wanted to buy, but this dishonest behavior is only the tip of the iceberg, I fear.

Rear Trunk Switch install on C7
I needed a trunk release switch installed in my C7 Corvette. The job was more time consuming than I expected. Dahmer loaned me a car so I did not have to wait for the repair to be completed. The repair included pulling the rear bumper to install the switch.

false advertising
I went to look at a 2019 Chevy Impala 1LT with 49k miles advertised for 15700.I asked the sales person about the administration fee and he told me it was 199 which is reasonable so I asked him to do the paperwork and I’ll buy the car,but he mentioned that he will need to get the final number from his sales manager.a couple minutes later he came back with a final price of 20700!I was shocked! Then the manager came out with some sob stories and I just walked out.some friends have mentioned something about false advertising and legal action?
