0(1). After buying two Hyundai’s from AIM, , an 2023 Elantra, and a 2024 Tuscon, I bought a 2024 Ionic5 EV The first two car dealers went great. The Ionic5 EV deal turned out to be a fiasco. Having never owned an EV, I did not know all the questions to ask . When I asked about a home charger, the sales person offered to get a plug in charger. I was told that it would charge the car in about 8 to 10 hours. My first charge on the plug in charger after 4 hrs of charging, showed a full charge would be in complete in 38 hrs. That basically made the car worthless to me. So I had to pay $1980 to have an in home charger installed. (2). When I was in finance completing the deal, I asked about the GOV. Rebate. The finance manager printed out a Google search and highlighted the details showing it would be the $7500. Nothing was said about the EV I was buying would NOY qualify for the rebate. I knew there was about $13,000 in incentives from Hyundai bit thought the GOV rebate I was told about would be in Addition. I could out the EV did not qualify when in January I asked for the form to file with my taxes.
