THE SERVICE ADVISOR SAID EVERYTHING WAS OK.
THE SERVICE ADVISOR SAID EVERYTHING WAS OK.PAID BILL WENT TO MY TRUCK AND READ THE REPORT THE SERVICE TECH HAD PUT A NOTE ON BOTTOM OF REPORT STATING THAT THERE WERE ONLY 4QTS OF OIL IN ENGINE.WENT BACK IN TO ASK SERVICE ADVISOR ABOUT COMMENT AND HE HAD NO CLUE.DO THE SERVICE TECHS TALK TO THE ADVISORS DIRECTLY?THE ADVISORS TOLD ME TO KEEP AN EYE ON IT.THE COMPUTER NEEDS TO BE REPROGRAMMED IT COULD NOT BE DONE AT LAST APPOINTMENT BECAUSE OF A COMPUTER GLITCH.WAS NOT VERY IMPRESSED AT ALL WITH THAT SERVICE ADVISOR.DID NOT CATCH HIS NAME HE HAD GLASSES OLDER MAN.I WILL MAKE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT TO GET THIS CORRECTED. .

I have been happy with the services performed on my pickup by McFarland Ford over the past few months. My truck is getting up there in age and mileage so repairs have to be expected and the service department at McFarland has been a pleasure to deal with as opposed to another regional ford dealer where I had been having work done before because they were close to my place of employment. I will continue to use McFarland now.

Got me scheduled quickly.
Got me scheduled quickly. Difficult to book warranty or non routine maintenance items online. You have to call. Sadly when I noticed a torn driver's side front axle shaft boot, it was 300 miles over my 60K full powertrain coverage warranty, and I had to pay a deductible. It was pretty obvious that it had been leaking for some time... The passenger side front boot had let go around 47K miles (known, common issue), and was covered at 100%. They checked the other side at the time, and said it was fine. This should be a Ford recall, or they should extend the warranty on these. Not the dealers fault but they have zero leeway on full coverage.
