Took vehicle in for state emissions inspection (42k mi,

Took vehicle in for state emissions inspection (42k mi, ZERO issues/deficient conditions reported upon arrival) and left with $3200 in repairs. Some were necessary (tires, brake pads), but a majority of the services they sold me seem to have been unnecessary, based on their own Multi-Point Inspection (trans flush, coolant flush, brake rotors, injector service). Mark Decker claimed that they complete some of the Inspection Form before services are performed, and some of the inspections after work is performed... Despite all fluids checked SATISFACTORY on their inspection form, I was told those checks were done AFTER they flushed the transmission and coolant systems... Despite brake discs/calipers being checked SATISFACTORY on their inspection form, I was told they had to replace all four rotors, with no actual data to drive this maintenance. This is absurd, to suggest that their inspection form is accomplished partly before performing maintenance, and partly afterward....why would you check the transmission fluid AFTER you flush the transmission? Of course it's going to be in "good condition" lol. Very dishonest service department, and my family will not be coming here for any future vehicles or services.

I was always pleased with Tarbox/Nucar service, where I

I was always pleased with Tarbox/Nucar service, where I have been a customer for many years. Today i came for oil and filter change (post warranty) and the service was completed sooner than estimated. This however was my first time as a handicapped customer. Andrew Chan was my consultant and I don't have enough good words to describe his kindness, courtesy, sensitivity and care. At the end Andrew went out of his way not only bringing the car to me in front of the waiting area (normally consultant will point out where about the car is parked on the lot), but offered to help me put my walker in the trunk and did not leave the side of the car until I was well seated behind the wheel. I never asked or anticipated any help as beeing recently handicapped I still have my independent attitude, but Andrew's emotional intelligence and empathy set my entire day on a happy note. Thank you very much!

We are very impressed with Nucar.

We are very impressed with Nucar. We have been here a few times. We have had good service but my experience today has made Nucar our go to for service. We brought the Rav in because the rear door kept opening by it's self. We were sure we were in for a large bill They tested out the car, fixed our key fob, washed our car and returned it in a little over an hour with no charge. Taylor kept me informed, explained what they did, and said if I had any more issues to call. This is a dealership that cares about it's customers!!

Not pushy!

Not pushy! Tim was very pleasant and professional from start to finish. Extremely patient and soft spoken. I usually have the urge to leave 5 minutes after talking to a salesman, was very at ease with him. When it was time to learn all the devices in the car, which were many and unfamiliar to us, he made sure we knew how to operate each one. Thanks Tim, you are certainly an asset to Toyota.

Mr Rick Lewis has helped me out of some binds a few times he's somebody that doesn't feed you xx that you don't want to or don't need to hear it's straightforward and seems to be a stand-up guy! Service in my opinion is the best in RI.

Service in my opinion is the best in RI. I have tried most of the Toyota service centers and I must say no one has topped Tarbox. I bought a new car from one of the other dealers, and the service was bad Yes they have a 70% rating which is not good for Toyota. I ended up taking the car to Tarbox. Andrew was great he took care of the service and called me ahead of the original quoted time frame.

I bought a RAV 4 and there were scratches in the door

I bought a RAV 4 and there were scratches in the door that I did not see and when I went back I was told they did not do body work, this would have been a deal breaker , but now I’m screwed. Lesson learned!
