Best Car Buying Experience I've Ever Had!
My husband and I came across Johnson Volvo Cars after weeks of enduring the worst experience I have ever encountered in attempting to purchase a new car from several different dealerships. After an initial communication error (on my part), a wonderful salesman, Ned Clark, called me to apologize and offer his services. I can not express how helpful and patient he was in assisting me to find the perfect vehicle. He and Marcus Riddick worked together to help negotiate a deal that was agreeable to both of us. We traveled 3 hours to make the purchase and it was worth every minute. When we arrived we were greeted by Ned who was welcoming and friendly. Soon after we met Marcus who was the same. Blake Boyd, the general manager, went out of his way to meet us. He was warm and engaging, as well. He spoke to us for several minutes about so many things we had in common and knew the area we come from. Just a nice man. And lastly we worked with Hasani Stapleton, the finance manager. Also warm and friendly, and easy to work with. I can't say enough about this amazing dealership and the people who work there. The dealership itself is beautiful. Unlike any I've ever seen before. And the staff truly could not be more professional and lovely. Ned followed up for several days after the purchase to make sure I was happy and to answer any questions I might have. He asked me if there was anything they could have done better. I can't think of thing. It was truly a wonderful experience and I give this dealership my highest recommendation.

Phenomenal experience with Roderick Blackwell.
When I walked into the Volvo Dealership the first person I met was Roderick Blackwell with a smile. Roderick ask "how can I help you" with a pleasant calm voice. Roderick carried me through the entire process of purchasing my 2022 Volvo. The way he took the time to coach me about purchasing my new Volvo was phenomenal. I am extremely happy with my purchase. Volvo dealership has great selections of new and used cars. I feel safe and comfortable driving my new SUV. Thanks Roderick for everything you brought to the whole buying experience with Volvo. i just leased a new Volvo last week through Roderick Blackburn, which was an A Plus, positive experience, originally met back in December when I first began looking at another model, who was great to work with from the intro, followed-up, but just enough to let me know he was there if & when I was ready, then was very informative, personal, yet professional, non-pressure, but helpful, & quick, when I was ready, which was mainly handed over the phone; the way business should be conducted. I've purchased several cars throughout the years, & know the business, very busy myself, the numbers were presented transparently, & he was attentive to what was important to me, he listened, & answered any questions I had to make sure I understood the full & detail picture, after working to get me the best deal on trade, so I could make an informed decision, which I was able to do very quickly, from his preparation. I could tell he has a serving mentality, & focuses on long term customer satisfaction, is in it for the long haul, I respect & admire, was as consistent after the sale. When it comes time to do another, I'll definitely be dealing with him.

I have purchased over 30 cars in my lifetime (so far), but yesterday had the best experience ever at Johnson Volvo. Rod Blackwell was my salesperson and he was exceptional! No pressure, but very helpful, knowledgeable about the vehicle. He was well organized and was able to get much of the paperwork completed so that my time in the dealership was efficient. The car was immaculate when we picked it up and Rod took a personal interest in making sure everything went well. What a great experience! The whole Johnson Volvo team was great, but Rod was exceptional!

Johnson Volvo Durham NC
This has been the worst experience I have ever had buying a vehicle. The finance department was no help with anything, I was the having to call them and confirm everything and that it was moving along. They sent me the papers to sign and of course they added in fee's from what I agreed on. They charged 799.00 for administative fee. Then the vehicle is being sent to me but I couldnt choose who was going to transfer the car. It had to be their people and of course they charged double. Now the car has not been delivered and I have called the dealer several times for the transport company's name and nobody there knows it. How is this possible? I'm the one paying for it but I wasnt given their information.
