Everyone at Forts Toyota are very caring and efficient in
Everyone at Forts Toyota are very caring and efficient in taking care of our car needs. Our salesman Kevin Carrington did a great job in explaining our new RAV4 to us and making sure it included all the options that we wanted. Overall purchasing this RAV4 was a great experience for us. We would highly recommend this dealership to everyone.

Thanks for going out of you way to keep me informed of activities during my visit. I am enjoying the Pekin dealer. I do miss having the car washed after the service - especially when there is salt on the roads.

I can't say enough positive things about Michelle at
I can't say enough positive things about Michelle at Toyota in Pekin! She shows genuine enthusiasm for her customers and gives thorough answers to any questions. What I appreciated most was that she took the time to show me how to use the new features on my 2024 Grand Highlander Hybrid and the Toyota app. In addition, when I come back to visit she greets me with a smile and I feel like I'm her favorite customer!

I’ve always had good experience in the past.
I’ve always had good experience in the past. I don’t know what changed. Eric, the service manager has changed his disposition entirely and was very unkind because he doesn’t like to work with our warranty company. I was there for engine work that the company did cover and I had to send it back four times to have it corrected. But what he wanted to talk about was, not the bad work done, but about a headlight they didn’t cover from my last repair. He said they gave me a loaner and they were losing money on it the whole time my engine was being repaired. I didn’t really need the loaner. I just accepted it because they offered. I didn’t ask for it they offered, and he was holding that against me. Before he asked me to pay $200 for repair my warranty company didn’t cover. I agreed but asked to do it the following week after I paid for the deductible on the engine. ***Even though when I dropped off my car, I ticked the box that said do not do repairs on my car if the amount exceeded $100. They did it anyway on my headlight. And Eric said Dillon should have handled it better but they are holding me accountable for their work and the warranty companies decision. They said they will never again help out anyone who has Total Warranty. I was threatened many times when I had to keep bringing my car back for repair over and over again. Wrong bumper alignment. Missing bolts and screws to hold the bumper on. Eric threatened to put my old headlight back in. Cory the mechanic kind at first and understanding and pleaded with me not to take my car to any other Toyota in the area and said I would get terrible service. But he was insulted when I asked for complete assurance they would not put my old light back in and he said I was talking myself out of them completing the work on the engine correctly and threatened to have me leave as it was. Eric said that there was no one else I could talk to that the was the top authority so I had to call Toyota and I haven’t had any luck talking to anyone there who really cares what we went through. I’m waiting to see if the $4000 worth of engine work they did holds up. (Total Warranty covered that) Cory’s apprentice did the work… Cory admitted that was done terribly and he didn’t completely oversee all his work. They left my car in pieces and with missing bolts and I have no trust that the engine work they did will hold up. And it will need to prove to holds up before I give them one penny. Thanks Toyota I no longer want your vehicle and no longer want your service from anywhere

We have worked with Amber Hubner and “Total Warranty Services” (TWS) warranty over the years and because of this, we were willing to attempt a claim on her headlamp assembly. Initially, Dylan had a green light to replace the lamp with TWS, but when he processed the $700.00 claim, it was denied. We asked for more consideration and started a back-and-forth process again with TWS that had them send out an inspector. The claim was again denied. During this back and forth, Amber brought the truck back for an engine repair, also covered by TWS. As Amber mentioned, we did fix some trim issues after the overhaul. The shop foreman and I had a learning moment about QC with the apprentice who completed the front bumper installation. Understandably, the condition at delivery leaves a poor impression. (No matter who the customer is) During the engine repair, we were still asking Amber to help us with TWS and the headlamp cost. We asked her to call TWS as that sometimes helps push a claim through. No luck. Because she is from Pekin and we have bent over backward to work with TWS, we hoped to settle this repair amicably. We called and asked if she would consider $200 as payment for the full repair and we could put this all behind us. She then said she would talk to her husband because “with everything going on, we are broke right now”. This conversation is where things went off the rails. Amber has doubled and tripled down on that she never said that. I had to ask Dylan if I missed something, as he was also on the call. He verified what I heard. Right now, Amber is driving her 4runner with the unpaid light housing. Yes, Amber Hubner only has a 100 deductible and that is all she authorized. However, weeks later, Amber still has not paid anything. We offered to reinstall the old headlamp assembly and she could walk away owing nothing. She found this outrageous, “It was Dylan's mistake” she proclaimed. Basically, “Finders Keepers”. She even suggested that her engine repair and concerns should negate her need to pay the bill. Also of note, Amber has contacted Toyota. They have dismissed her concern. Eric Stahl, Service Manager
