Saw a truck online, but when I got there it wasn’t good condition and they even forced me to purchase $4000 extra bs accessory fees . Terrible

Returning customer doesn't receive proper care.
I went in for the purpose of purchasing a specific vehicle (did my research in advance). I came to the lot, spotted the 2012 Ford Edge Sport, took a quick look before asking for assistance, and was set on moving forward. A kind salesman by the name of Isaac assisted me with the test drive but before we left the lot, I thought I should check all around the vehicle to be aware if it was in excellent condition as indicated on the website. To my pleasure, everything seemed in order UNTIL I got to the sunroof. The panoramic sunroof equipped on this vehicle comes with the power shade for both front and back, which worked as expected. However, the actual sunroof was not operational. The kind salesman was just as surprised as I was, but we went forward with the test drive to see if the rest of the vehicle faired better than the sunroof, which it did. When coming back to the dealership, we talked numbers and were in agreement with the first price shown. Then a new price sheet came out because they would need to send the car off to the dealer for repair of the sunroof and they wanted me to pay for it within the purchase price. Granted, I came to the lot looking for this car not out of necessity, purely out of wanting an SUV that could provide the ride of a car but give a little extra when needed. However, I didn't feel as though that added charge should've been assessed to me. My financing institution, which is my credit union, also advised that I shouldn't be responsible for the repair especially since it wasn't known to them until my visit. When I voiced my concern to the salesman and sales manager, the sales manager informed that someone else will by the car as-is or if they sent it off for repair, they would just raise the sales price to adjust for the cost of repair. It was in that moment I grabbed my belongings and left the dealership. For a sales manager to say that as if that isn't a problem for another customer to experience, it felt shady and didn't speak well of the customer service of the dealership. To say that I'm shocked is an understatement, especially since I bought a car from them five years ago and my experience was far more pleasurable and respectful than what I experienced this past weekend. Needless to say, that vehicle is no longer listed on their website and I didn't buy it.

These liars posted a $10,999, price on the Carfax...
These liars posted a $10,999, price on the Carfax website, for an '06 Acura. After my husband and I test drove the car, the salesman claimed that a tracking device had been preinstalled, which would cost us an additional $2,000. Apparently, such a tracking device is preinstalled in the majority of their vehicles. As I exited the lot, I called Evelyn - the "Online" sales associate, to voice my displeasure. Before coming in, I asked her if the Acura for $10,999 was still available. She verified that it was, without saying a word about an extra $2,000 added to the price. She appologized and offered to speak to her manager, but why would I want give my hard earned money to liars and cheats who disregard my time? I declined her offer.

DISHONEST/FALSE ADVERTISING
Scammers! Advertised a vehicle for $10,999, but after wasting an hour to get to the lot, the asking price jumped up 2 grand. Apparently the preinstalled tracking device was the cause. We were told that most of the vehicles have this tracking device, so my guess is that this undisclosed information leads them to deny sale of the vehicle at the advertised price.

Deceptive sales practice
Everyone was good and helpful but I would never recommend this dealership due to the deceptive sales practices that are not disclosed until you are committed to the car. Yes you can walk away but a lot of people including myself come a long way for a car that looks like a good deal then at the last moment they hit you with over $4000 in options that are already installed but are not included in the advertised price of the car. They are the ultimate used car salesmen.

Hidden charges!
After reading that they falsely advertised cars then charge for “options” which are not optional, I point blank asked the salesperson about it. She confirmed there was an additional $2000 for the vehicle, which was already pretty much optioned out when it was built. Their examples are lift kits and things which basically don’t apply to a late model Transit 350 so that $2000 was basically undisclosed markup. Mind you, it’s in the fine print that some additional charges will be present, but seriously, they are counting on you being committed before they tell you. And with this deceptive pricing how can you trust anything else they might say?
