The 2017 XC90 is a moneypit!
I purchased a 2017 XC90 about 3 and a half years ago. Like many others, we fell victim to the faulty turbocharger (at 65k miles!) which cost us $6k to repair). Less than 6 months later, our starter motor and battery had to be replaced (at 70k miles) costing another $2k. For what we have paid in maintenance, we easily could have
- Purchased a Used car
- Used for Transporting family
- Does not recommend this car
Great SUV, Not Great MPG
I loved my XC90 but traded it due to the cost of fuel. I drive 40 miles a day roundtrip to work. I would easily go through a tank of gas in four days. Best mileage I ever got was about 22 highway. The XC90 is a heavy SUV and shaped like a block. Not a lot of aerodynamics.
As for comfort and luxury you can't go wrong the
