Horrible MPG, $10k upcharge over non hybrid

"Upto x mpg...we never got over 33mpg on the highway, horrible around town. The non-hybrid version being 10k less would have been a wise investment. The car was quick off the line and quiet on the road, very comfortable. Ran out of gas once figuring we could run electric only, in town and less than 20 miles. Wrong. Dead on street by gas station. Pushing the thing on a level service for 30 yds was hella heavy. Reliability, abs module failed, Toyota fought, we bought, Toyota later recalled, we filed for reimbursement, Toyota fought, we fought, Toyota fought, we won. Interior, right a-pillar airbag plastic housing cover would not stay attached. Stereo great, car quiet ride, comfortable. After we got reimbursed for the abs, we got paranoid and bailed. Sold it outright and bought a basic 2014 Civic. As good or better mileage, 10k less though not a quiet comfortable fast ride. Still better value in that there were zero issues over the 8 years we owned it.
