I had a 2003 9.

I had a 2003 9.3 that was not a convertible. It had all the packages of an Aero, but it wasn't. This didn't compare to the two other Saabs that I owned that were Bullet proof 1985 900 S and a 1989 900 S. I'm not sure if it was due to GM owning them when the 9.3 was built. The 9.3 had serious quality control issues. I would hit the turn signal lever with my knee getting into the car breaking it off. $150 a whack to replace it. Suspension issues, turbo issue and everything in between that were expensive to repair. Fun car to drive but it was no Saab!

If only they were still in business!!

First with the problem.... finding parts. It is now years since Saab closed down and I have had to do some hunting for parts for the very rarely needed repairs. It has been an excellent driving, reliable, quiet, and comfortable car! If you are comfortable searching online and crossing fingers when you buy a part then this is an excellent choice for the money! So sad that they are no longer being made.... I have owned this vehicle for a little over 6 1/2 years, was the third owner and put the most mileage on the vehicle.
