I’m a bragging past owner of a 2006 G6 Gypsy sedan.

I’m a bragging past owner of a 2006 G6 Gypsy sedan. First owner up to around 37,000 miles. Great experience & performance! Only issue that aggravated me was the key release from the ignition “ which was repeatedly repaired & never solved?” My model was the rare 6 speed manual “ yes in a sedan!!!!” The manual had to be in a certain precise position to trigger the ignition key release. I joked with GM service department that apparently the car wanted to keep driving?! The only other service I can remember was the leather seat cover replaced because the color wore away. & a suspension part up front. Everything covered by factory no arguments. I’m extremely serious that this is one General Motors hidden past gems!!!! “ keep in mind I am NOT talking base entry level model here.” Everyone knows about the G8 the solstice which is understandably justified! However these G6 GTP & GXP are the best investment for the budget minded to get performance in a competitive fun driving sedan with luggage & storage space!” Unless you’re smart enough to purchase the HARDTOP metal roof convertible!” Do your self & your wallet a favor & don’t ignore the vehicle when looking!

DO NOT BUY NOT WORTH IT

i bought the car with 80,000 miles the second day of driving which was a 2.5 mile drive to my girlfriends the power steering rack and the pump blew up. i repaired it 4 times before the issue was resolved. Over 1,000 dollars each time also and then when i hit 100,000 miles it decided to leak out all of its oil an blow up my crankshaft to the point i poured oil in and it literally leaked all out immediately. STEER CLEAR OF THIS CAR.
