With deliveries set to begin in just a few months, Polestar has announced prices for its new 3 electric SUV for the 2025 model year. The brand is expanding the number of available configurations and breaking out previously standard equipment groups into optional packages. For 2025, the Polestar 3’s starting price is $74,800 (all prices include $1,400 destination charge).

Powertrain Specs and Range
The five-seat 3 is available exclusively with front and rear electric motors providing all-wheel drive. Both motors draw energy from a 111-kilowatt-hour battery pack, with the base version generating a combined 489 horsepower and 620 pounds-feet of torque. Polestar claims it will accelerate from 0-60 mph in five seconds.
The optional Performance Pack increases output to 517 hp and 671 pounds-feet, dropping the 0-60 time to 4.7 seconds. Polestar estimates the range of the 3 at 315 miles with the standard powertrain and 279 miles with the Performance Pack (official EPA figures are not yet available). The company expects the 3 to charge from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes on a DC fast charger.
Greater Choice
Polestar offers three major packages on the 3, as well: the Pilot, Plus and Performance Packs. The Pilot Pack is now standard on every 2025 Polestar 3 and includes lane-centering steering, a head-up display, lane change assist, a 360-degree camera system, and front and rear parking sensors. Other standard equipment on the 3 includes a 9-inch digital instrument panel and 14.5-inch touchscreen, plus a litany of additional driver-assist systems: forward collision alert with cyclist and pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure steering assist, active blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.
Buyers can also add either or both the Plus and Performance packs to their 3. The Plus Pack adds a 25-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system and a choice of synthetic leather or wool seats, heated rear seats and 21-inch wheels. In addition to the increased power, the Performance Pack includes sportier suspension tuning, 22-inch wheels and gold interior accents.
