What Is the 2019 Nissan Sentra?

The front-wheel-drive Nissan Sentra is a compact sedan that seats five and comes in six trim levels that range from economy models to turbocharged performance versions. The base engine is a 1.8-liter four-cylinder that works with a six-speed manual or an optional continuously variable automatic transmission. SR Turbo and NISMO models are powered by a 188-horsepower, turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder. Competitors include the Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra, Mazda3 and Toyota Corolla.

What’s New on the 2019 Nissan Sentra?

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity is included on all trims but the base S version. A new SV Special Edition Package includes 17-inch alloy wheels, rear disc brakes, blind spot warning with rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, a power moonroof and minor convenience features.

What Features in the 2019 Nissan Sentra Are Most Important?

Standard features include cruise control, power windows and locks and air conditioning, but it's worth stepping up to the SV trim to get CarPlay and Android Auto. The high-end SL trim comes with features like leather upholstery, front seat heaters, a Bose stereo and a power moonroof. CVT-equipped Sentras come with automatic emergency braking.

Should I Buy the 2019 Nissan Sentra?

Having not seen a substantial redesign since the 2013 model year, the Sentra is starting to show its age. Despite offering good value and a roomy interior, the base engine can be sluggish and noisy, and the car has numb steering feel.

Beautiful looking car!

I have the 2019 Nissan Sentra SV Special Edition and the ride and seats are very comfortable. Gas Mileage is great in the city using the Eco mode which I use a lot. I got up to 36 miles per gallon in the city. I added some System48Plus to the oil crank case and now I'm getting up to 40 miles per gallon in the city! I bought the car certified and it had no recalls so I decided to buy this one. Some of those other 2019s had a recall. The front of the car looks amazing sporty! The thing that's not as good would be the performance which I don't need as long as I am saving gas but I am getting a better puck up since I added that engine treatment as well as better gas mileage. The only other thing that could use improvement would be the sterio speakers and l will probably just change that to Boise speakers. Overall it's a great looking and dependable car.

My 2019 sentra already costing me over $500.00 to

My 2019 sentra already costing me over $500.00 to fix my ac cooling system and its only 3 years. Who knows what’s going to break next. This is the last Nissan I will own after a 20 years customer. The quality is garbage. I’m going to buy Toyota as I have a 4 runner older than this bad Nissan with no issues.
