Last redesigned for the 2017 model year, the Armada is a full-size SUV that shares its basic architecture with the Infiniti QX80 and global Nissan Patrol. It features three rows of seats and a standard 400-horsepower, 5.6-liter V-8 engine that works with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Rear- and four-wheel-drive versions are available. Should I Buy the 2024 Nissan Armada?
The Armada’s cabin feels luxurious in higher trims, and the second row is roomy. The third row, however, is tight, and there’s not much cargo space when it’s in place. The Armada’s old-school V-8 engine is powerful but very thirsty, and it takes premium fuel. This is a competitive class, so it’s worth checking out the competition — or waiting for the forthcoming 2025 Armada — before making a purchase.
