The S-Class is the flagship passenger car of the Mercedes-Benz fleet and serves as a luxury and technological showcase for the brand. The S-Class competes with the Audi A8, BMW 7 Series, Lexus LS and Maserati Quattroporte. Maybach versions, meanwhile, are ultraluxury models aimed at Bentley and Rolls-Royce.
