What Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC?
The GLC is Mercedes-Benz’s entry in the luxury compact SUV class, and it’s available in a traditional SUV shape as well as a sloped-roof coupe version. Both body styles seat five people. GLC300 models are powered by a 255-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine matched with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system and a nine-speed automatic transmission. The standard body style comes with rear- or all-wheel drive, while coupe versions come only with AWD. A high-performance AMG GLC43 version gets a 416-hp, turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder, also augmented by a 48-volt hybrid system, along with a sport-tuned suspension and other performance-focused features.

The new AMG GLC43’s 416-hp four-cylinder replaces the previous GLC43’s 385-hp, twin-turbo V-6.
