What it is: The performance version of the GLA has unique front styling and exterior trim, and it gets 167 horsepower more from the same 2.0-liter engine used in other GLAs. It comes with standard 19-inch wheels and tires.

What's Special

Here's info on the regular GLA250:

What it is: The GLA-Class subcompact SUV is unmistakably Mercedes, with an upright front end, bold grille and the brand's star badge prominently showcased. A high-performance AMG GLA45 version comes with a 375-hp version of that engine and standard all-wheel drive. Competitors include the Audi Q3 and BMW X1.

The instrument cluster has been updated, and the available Multimedia Package gets a larger 8-inch screen. Android Auto smartphone connectivity is newly available.
