When it comes to driving enjoyment, there aren’t many small SUVs that provide the same degree of fun you’ll get from the CX-30. Its agility and size make it easy to park, too. Downsides include poor rear visibility, a cozy backseat and an infotainment system that eschews a proper touchscreen in favor of a quirky rotary knob controller on the center console. On the plus side, the quality of the cabin is excellent; it feels upscale. The CX-30 also has a sporty nature thanks to its highly accurate steering, strong brakes and taut suspension; the latter, though, might be a tad too firm for some SUV shoppers.
