Unreliable suspension (shock absorbers)

Well designed for my needs, but I have had a bad experience with the shock absorbers failing. Front shocks were replace after 8k miles and now all four shocks need to be replace after 37k miles. This vehicle get very light use... It’s a truck, so I don’t understand this.
