What it is: The Infiniti Q70 luxury sedan is offered in standard- and long-wheelbase versions, as well as a standard-wheelbase-only hybrid. The base engine is a 3.7-liter V-6, but a 5.6-liter V-8 is available. Rear- and all-wheel-drive models are offered, and the Q70 competes against the Audi A6, Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5 Series.

(Skip to details on the Q70L and Q70 Hybrid)

Infiniti's InTouch screen is now standard.

Q70L

The Q70L is the long-wheelbase version of the Q70. At 120.1 inches, the wheelbase is 5.9 inches longer than the standard Q70’s for more backseat legroom. Like the regular-wheelbase Q70, the Q70L is powered by a 3.7-liter V-6 or a 5.6-liter V-8 engine.

What’s Special

  • 5.6 inches of additional rear legroom
  • Rear- or all-wheel drive
  • Auto-cinching rear doors

Q70 Hybrid

The Q70 Hybrid is powered by a 3.5-liter V-6 engine and a 50-kilowatt electric motor. Infiniti claims its testing has shown that, in mixed driving, the Q70 Hybrid can drive on electric power for up to 50 percent of the time.

What’s Special

  • EPA-estimated 30 mpg in combined driving
  • Lithium-ion battery pack powers electric motor
  • 360-hp total system output
  • Rear-wheel-drive only

Infiniti Q70 modl ara a great value for your money

I’ve driven my individual 2015 Infiniti Q70L for the past five years. I purchased my Infiniti on September 2018 with 35,000 miles after a lease return. I happen to be a rideshare driver. It’s currently May 2023 and it has 178,000 miles. The 3.7L and the seven speed automatic transmission has been super reliable and still runs as smooth as when I picked it up when it had 35,000 miles. Other than replacing serviceable items that were out because of time. Like the windshield wipers, battery, brake pads and rotors, all 3 drive belt pulleys with tensioner pulley, serpentine belt, cabin air filter once I’ve driven my individual 2015 Infiniti Q70L for the past five years. Driver side latch actuator is the only known issue that will wear out. Alternator was replaced under warranty. Just like any other vehicle oil changes are performed every 5000 miles with synthetic oil at the dealership. The transmission Service has been performed every 50,000 miles. differential service has been performed every 60,000 miles. All coolant services have been performed every 60,000 miles as well. I also replaced the OEM size tires. To a Michelin pilot sport all season 4’s 265/40ZR20 104Y. Which have improved the right handling and comfort massively. a year, spark plugs at 100,000 miles. Nicest quality I’ve ever owned.

The exterior of my car is very classy. The sleek design is awesome. The car is very comfortable inside and handles very well on the highway
