Let me add to the engine problems.

Let me add to the engine problems. Overall I really like this vehicle. We have taken many trips and enjoy the feel on the road. Maintenance has not been a major issue until recently. It started using oil on a regular basis. About a quart every two to three weeks. At around 92k miles it is now in the shop waiting to see if Hyundai will honor their warranty. It needs a new engine. It runs ok now, for a sewing machine. Hopefully Hyundai will honor their warranty and I can get another 90k miles out of the vehicle.

At 84k miles the motor & turbo gave out.

At 84k miles the motor & turbo gave out. Because I bought it used it wasn’t covered under warranty and cost me $10k to fix. As I’ve done more research now I’m seeing this is a common issues unfortunately.
