What Is the 2020 Honda Insight?

A hybrid compact sedan with seating for five that’s aimed squarely at the Toyota Prius, the Honda Insight is based on the Honda Civic sedan but has unique styling, a more upscale interior and a gas-electric hybrid drivetrain that delivers an EPA-estimated 52 mpg combined in most trim levels. Besides the Prius, competitors include the Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid and Toyota Corolla Hybrid

What’s New on the 2020 Honda Insight?

All-new last year, the only significant change for 2020 is a new Platinum White Pearl paint color.

What Features in the 2020 Honda Insight Are Most Important?

All trim levels include the Honda Sensing suite of safety and driver-assist features, including forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist. An 8-inch touchscreen multimedia system goes in all trim levels but the base LX, and it includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity. The top, Touring trim includes heated front seats, leather upholstery, a power moonroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation and a premium stereo.

Should I Buy the 2020 Honda Insight?

Honda fans and other hybrid buyers looking for terrific fuel economy and an alternative to the Toyota Prius would do well to consider the Honda Insight. With a long list of standard safety features and three trim levels to choose from, the Insight offers a measure of style to go with its practicality.

My second Insight.

My second Insight. Lower interest rate and good trade in on my first Insight led to my second. Great gas mileage except in cold weather. I live in Nebraska. winter months drops about 6-9 MPG. Rest of the year is 48-50.The sweet spot is flat I-80 at 70 MPH with 55-60 MPG the norm. 75 MPH it drops to 48-49 an I can't complain. I', 6'3 and I fit with no problem. big trunk. Camera in right side mirror for lane change is great as well as back up camera. The back seat is kind of cramped unless you are short. Overall as long as the keep building them I'm buying.

Don't waste your money

The driver seat is extremely uncomfortable on a long trip if it had a lumbar support or something would improve it quite a bit but it don't the fuel economy is at least 10 gallons per mile off from what they overtise by my car which I bought with just very few miles on it I like the looks of the car everything else about the car other than the uncomfortable seats is nice Honda just needs to do quite a bit to improve it
